They did a nice job removing the driveway. They discovered the soil under the driveway was waterlogged and they did what they could to prep it for the pour. The pour looked great I was very happy initially. But the driveway is in poor shape now with cracks all over and popped up concrete where the rebar was anchored to the existing foundation. I don't really know the reason for the state the driveway is in now and I'm not qualified to know why its done so poorly. I called a year later to show them the cracks but didn't get a decent plan from them on what to do. At this point I may want to re-do the entire job including adding heating to the driveway. I don't think I would ask Groninger to do it based on the results I have now. I paid a lot of money for this and am disappointed but not sure I can blame Groninger. But I don't have experience to know how to pour concrete so I trusted that they were doing the right thing.

My husband called 5 companies to get estimates for replacing a 68 ft driveway. We asked that each company togive us an estimate for demo and pouring a new driveway, and also for only pouring a new driveway we had another possible option for the demo.
Doug from Groninger Concrete was very professionaland and personable and answered all of our questions. Of the 5 estimates we received his was the only one with completely accurate measurements of the driveway and other specific details requested. The estimate, as requested was broken down to indicate the difference in price for the entire job vs. just the new driveway. His estimate was clear and concise. His price was very reasonable, and my husband felt very comfortable about choosing Groninger to do the job.
Our grandson and friends did the demo, but were not prepared for the huge amount of concrete to be hauled. We contacted Doug to see if they could haul it away and asked for an estimate. This estimate was also reasonable. A crew came and hauled away 4 large dump truck loads. When they were done they swept up the debris left on the street .
There was a delay in starting the driveway due to the heavy rains. Between rainstorms they graded, laid forms, gravel base and rebar. There was another delay of the actual pouring, but it was mother nature's fault. A few days after the pour a gentleman came our and did the finishing touches.
The new driveway looks wonderful and we would definitely recommend Groninger and use them again if the need arises.

Project went fine and to budget. They did not realign the sprinkler heads for the new drip zones properly so I had to do that after the fact.

All of this concrete replaced what was a large wood deck and stairs leading to the front door. Once the deck was gone there was a 3.5' drop from the front door to the ground. We decided to pour the stairs as a front entry from the ground level. The stairs sweep in and arch and lead up to a landing. We were nervous about this, but 1 year later they look great. No cracks or shifting and they are easy to maintain and look good.
We were undecided what to do in front of the stairs - pavers, landscaping etc, but ultimately decided to do a slab for ease of maintenance and longevity. Groninger came back out gave an estimate and we hired them again to pour this large slab. They came and poured it and it came out great.
Doug and his crew were very good to work with. They offered design advice and pros and cons of various materials and then poured the front stairs and landing as expected.
We'd hire them again for our concrete needs.

Overall, the job was good. I have some pluses and minuses for them. They were scraping up some old rocks on the flowerbeds and pond. They didn't do a good job. They tried to plant some flowers near the rocks.
