They arrived on time, were very professional.  It cost us approx. 1400 for those two rooms and the wall going upstairs to our second floor.  They did a good job with coverage. We had really dark color painted walls and some of the walls in the kitchen had stencils. The one thing that I'm a little sad about is that there were some nicks in the wall that needed to be repaired on the corners and they just painted over them so there's still little nicks, I guess I assumed that is something they would have done a quick repair on as they painted.  They also dripped paint down the front of the dishwasher, it's an old dishwasher and we just decided to go ahead an upgrade anyway so no major loss.

They offered a five year warranty on their services. Due to our harsh conditions - or perhaps the sub-par quality of their paint, the paint on our home has begun to peel. They have come out twice, taken the paint, but have not fixed the problem. Their phone number is still active, but their business address is now occupied by a different company. According to the Better Business Bureau, this company may have closed down.

Fair. They seem to be generally decent guys, but workers are rotating door. Got the shuffle, however, dealing with three different people running the business, so that the left hand did not know what right hand was doing: Plausible deniability as to what was agreed to? They seem to tell you what you want to hear going in, then someone other than them forgets or denies this, then original person won't return calls to clarify.

Our cumulative jobs ran up to around $20K.

Extremely large concrete deck / balcony and patio painted in 2011 with Epoxacryl from Superdeck. Deck finish failed before 2012, failed in 2012, and then failed again 2013. Finish bubbling and peeling. Thought was it was applied when too cold. Unseth sent someone out (Foy -- their best guy) to deal with the initial bubbling, but the repair looked really bad as the layers built up differently between the missing material and non-missing material, and color was different. Pock marks, color mismatch. No returned calls or responses to emails.

I called Superdeck, and they said the only way this kind of failure happens is if the painters did not pre-etch the concrete. I remember them power washing it. Superdeck said power washing not enough to prep surface. Now we have ongoing maintenance on what was supposed to be a no-low maintenance finish, and it doesn't look good. Not happy. Superdeck says now needs to be chemically stripped (methyl chloride), etched, refinished! Really not happy.

I think that generally they are a pretty good company, but the deck experience, and one other experience, was not very good.

The actual workmanship is excellent. Very satisfied with the work done. I would recommend them. However here comes
the and quot;but or howeverand quot;. As a long time customer of this company (since 1995), I've observed the customer service slip. In my opinion it may be a result of becoming and quot;too successfuland quot;. It appears that by far farming out the project to sub contractors / companies, the communication between these entities could be better. At times I sensed there was confusion as to who should complete what, and how to complete. I had to call at least 3 times, to be filled in on the and quot;planand quot;. Maybe as a long time customer, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and and quot;cut them some slackand quot;. A new customer may not be so forgiving.
My advise for them is to go back to their and quot;rootsand quot;, and remember the customers who made them successful in the first place.

Have used this company in the past and was very pleased. This time I chose Greg Unseth because of that prior history. The interior paint was supposed to consist of spraying the ceilings white (the are all vaulted) and rolling two coats on the walls. Closets were not
included. The job was to take three days. Four guys came, and the job with ONE coat of paint was completed in a day and a half. Had I known the terrible, terrible mess the spraying would create, I would have skipped it and saved $1120! It literally took me 10 days to get my home clean. There was overspray on my new hardwood floors and some on my new carpet. I noted places that were missed. I called back and someone came to fix most of them. The last day they were in a hurry to leave and did not inspect their work or clean the painting mess.

Everyone who works for the company is related to Greg. The crew was very pleasant, especially one person.

It is now over two months since The work was done. It STILL is not right, and Greg is not only hard to get in touch with, but he does not follow through on setting a date for the work to be corrected. My punch list is two pages!

I will be asking for a partial refund.

They were professional, easy to work with, but expensive. They couldn't come on the date promised. The job was scheduled for 2 days. They came on the second day and finished all the work in a day. We chose them because the recommendations from my co-workers and College Pro quoted more than double.
They did the job through a third party contractor but the work was guaranteed for 5 years through Greg Unseth. When I talked to their contractor who did the work at my home and asked them for a rough estimate - similar house, they told us that, it would be around $2000-$2250 (with 5 year warranty). That quote was approximately $1250 lower than we paid. In Colorado Springs, check for Valpak or similar coupon books for $100-$500 off coupons.
We were very satisfied with the work, but feel paid too much.

All contractors on this effort performed sub-par work and seemed proud of their work. I have a new front and storm door I will have to correct fit and finish issues left by Greg Unseth painting and Allside Doors and Windows. Greg Unseth personally supervised the completion of the project and was fully satisfied with the issues he and his employees left for the homeowner. The trim pieces coving the installation screws for the new stormdoor do not fit in the channel because the installation screws holding the door frame were incorrectly installed (screwed in sideways and not straight into the channel). Now when you approach my front door, the trim pieces stick out like a sore thumb. Greg did manage to eliminate most of the gap between the stormdoor and the door threshold, but again, not a quality installation. Trim pieces around the inside of the door are too tightly fitted, the door has a loud skeak when it opens and closes, again due to inproper fit and finish. Tim's Gutters performed equally as poor. The fit and finish of the new gutters we had installed is really bad. Tim tried to correct the issues but was unwilling to make replacement parts, the true corrective action required. I need to find a new gutter company to correct the new gutters installed in the front of my home. Tim's final work leaves gutters looking like they have been installed for 20 or more years and pretty beat up. The paint Greg Unseth put on the home looks good, but I doubt it was worth the more than $3,500.00 I paid. I'm pretty sure I could have spent less for the same quality, I will not use Greg Unseth painting again and do not recommend this company. 25 years ago, I met Greg when he painted the buildings of the Firefly Condo complex at the corner of Fountain and Murray. At that time, Greg did a great job; however, now, he doesn't have the same level of quality. Greg Unseth Painting is just another expensive painting company that simply needs to go away and I'm sure it will.

The painting crew arrived on time and were nice to work with. They were careful and cleaned the area after each day's work. It was a difficult job and when we pointed out some minor areas that were overlooked they cheerfuly corrected the problem. They did a very nice job.

We had a person come out and say that they supply high quality work. Unfortunately, when the crew came out here they did not provide quality prep time or trim work. The quality of work that they promised was not backed up by what they supplied us with.

Greg Unseth's team did a great job painting the interior of our home. The team was professional, friendly, easy to work with, and their commitment to quality was obvious. The work ended up going a day longer than anticipated because of a vehicle issue and because the job was larger than estimated. The guys worked hard to finish as quickly as possible, but at no point did they rush or cut corners. They also stuck to the original estimate they gave us. After everything was painted, they walked through the house with us twice to check for spots that needed touch ups and were happy to make any fixes requested. Our house looks great, and we will definitely use Greg Unseth painting again if we need more painting work done.

It was a nightmare. We used Greg Unseth because it was a family owned business, which really appealed to us. We thought pride in ownership would apply! The very young son came out and talked an excellent story, which prompted us to choose Unseth. The family does not do the painting in anyway shape or form. The prep work was not done properly.. I called to let them know my concerns the son came back out and simply put, made excuses for the workers whom he saidv were doing it correctly. As a woman, I knew better,we aren't kids we have been around for awhile. The workers smoked while working, ok, but the discarded the cigarettes all over our property. They sent someone out to pick them up, at least what they saw. We are now replacing the wood with stucco. If anyone would like to see Unseth craftmanship give us a call.

The employees arrived on time. The crews that came to our house were all extremely professional. The job was done with great attention to detail. Due to rain, a few other outdoor crews joined in and our job was completed in one day. There were a few minor concerns that were immediately addressed the next day and those only took about 5 minutes. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was extremely upset. This company has been in business here for many years and it has a good BBB rating. Since they gave me a rebate (small bribe), I didn't report to BBB. Needless to say, I would never hire them again. I think perhaps I was assigned some of their more inexperienced painters. They very well might do a good job in other parts of town.

Geneally, very well. After some initial discussion on how the power wash activity was to be accomplished (from a ladder rather than from the ground), the project went extremely well. Siding was scraped and brush painted as needed for proper preparation. Cracks and other defects were appropriately prepared. Siding was sprayed with Behr Premium Plus Ultra stain and the trim brush painted with Behr Premium Plus Ultra paint. Total job requied approximately six work days with two painters. Painters commented on how much they preferred the application of this brand stain and paint to the product they normally used.

It costed a couple of thousands. His prices were very competitive. I took about 4 or 5 bids. It was not the lowest bid but I could tell that he had a very quality job in mind and he did it very well. I will definitely recommend him to others. I will use this company again in the future.
