Absolutely stunning work! Michael was extremely professional and knew exactly how to tackle our fireplace surround with the correct tile and technique. The end result was absolutely flawless. I plan to hire again. Excellent work!

Michael was great to work with. He communicated clearly and professionally, completed the job as scheduled and helped us to locate a tile supplier we had never heard of before. The job was done on time and for the price quoted. We did not compare pricing, as it was a small job and very important to us that it was done before Thanksgiving and we were very comfortable with Michael, after meeting him at our home. Michael worked on Saturday to get the job done and allow us to put our home back together in time for the holidays.

It's amazing how clean and dust free his removal process was. You didn't even know he was working in the house.
Very clean and never stopped working. The install was perfect. No raised corners or bad cuts. Everything was straight the way it should be. He did a great job and didn't require any babysitting. He's an old school guy that knows what he is doing. I'd hire him to do another job anytime. Some contractors take over your house and cause a big mess. Michael was the cleanest I've found and did an amazing job.
If you don't have a clue about tile work, this is the guy you want to do your job. He will take care of everything and you will be left feeling happy with the end result. He doesn't cut corners and delivers very solid clean work.
Thanks again Michael.

Mike did an excellent job installing the tile. Mike did the job exactly as we as asked him to do but when he was done we thought a recessed shelf in the rear shower wall looked a little plain. Mike suggested we put a trim border around the opening and we loved the way it looked once Mike installed it.
Mike has many years experience and it shows in his work.

I am selling my 4-plex and asked Michael (I know him from Starbucks) if he was interested in doing handyman work and repair the tub tile surround as it was cracked along the grout lines from shifting from the building. Also, I asked if he could level the floor and install new linoleum supplied by me. I also had several other handyman things I wanted done in one of my vacant 4-plex apartments.
Michael looked at the work to be done and informed me that he was only willing to replace the entire tile surround and would not do tile repair nor does he install lino. He said he would be happy to replace the entire tub surround with his own (identical) white tile and install his tile on the floor as well. He stated he would give me a great deal because he has left over tile that he wanted to use.
His original estimate was $672.00 for the whole job. While I thought this was an extreme amount of money to spend on a small rental property bathroom, Michael sold me on the idea that it would look good for sale.
In the end, Michael raised his fee by $125.00 (for additional tile $35; wood shims $15 and extra labor $75.00). The increase in cost was a big shock to me as I was expecting that a craftsman who has done tile "all his life" would know exactly what his charges are up front. The increased cost is my only criticism of his work.
Michael's tile work looks absolutely great. He obviously takes great pride in his craftsmanship and quality of his work. I would recommend Michael for higher end work.
