They completed halfway and took our money. It started March 2016-June 2016. They did the major parts of the renovation. Some of it was done very poorly. Cabinets hung in the wrong place. The paint on the bench he was to build wasn't mixed with the solvent so it didn't set. the benches ended up needing replaced. There was a place in the hardwood floor where there wasn't any hardwood because the island was there and they never patched that section. There is some texture and paint on the walls that were never finished. They got to point were they were making very little progress. They wouldn't call or tex wen I would contact them. He would say I will be back in a couple hours and never came. He then said he needed the final payment. I told him he was no where close to being done so that I wasn't paying him. he said well I am done and walked off. He told the granite co that they needed to get a final payment from me but I already paid 90% of the contract amount. So he hasn't even paid people like the granite company. I went to the BBB they sent him a couple letters back and forth. He finally sent a check for $620 and the BBB thought that was all we will get from him and recommend we be done with it. We had to hire a new contractor. He lost some materials. The new contractor had to finish and replace his mistakes.
