Gene Squires Construction

My cedar roof was severely damaged by hail in August 2012. The insurance company covered most of the cost. We got about 4 estimates and Gene's was in the middle. When Gene inspected the roof damage he pointed out things that all the other roofers missed. He was professional and friendly. We decided to put in tube skylights at our own expense. Gene told us which skylight he thought was best and why and ordered it for us. The price was cheaper than Lowes. Gene installed the skylight himself and they look awesome! He didn't leave any mess in the house at all. He also offered to adjust them anytime in the future. Gene kept us informed throughout the whole process. He also told us to take the pictures off the walls and was even concerned about the stress on our dogs. I've never hired a general contractor before, so I didn't know what to expect. I felt like I had my own personal advocate working for me. He checked on his roofing workers at least daily. He informed us whenever there was something he wasn't happy with and corrected it immediately. Gene takes pride in his work and is very approachable. He made sure we were happy with all the work done. He had no problem with questions and gets his own hands dirty too. Fantastic service!!
