I was referred to Gaddie Electric through a current co-worker who used to work for Mark. Mark and his group are fantastic and very affordable. Compared to other electric companies in the area, Gaddie Electric is hands down the best overall deal for electrical repairs. Dean provided a courtesy call prior to arriving and knocked out the job (swapped out wall outlet and breaker) in a timely manner; he even took the time to discuss possible cost for a couple other things I was thinking of getting done. I look forward to working with them for all of my future electrical needs. Highly recommend them to anyone.

The overall troubleshooting, problems solving and repair took approximately one hour.. The team members were very professional and pleasant to work with. I called in the morning after the problem developed the night before and Mr. Gaddie was able to get a crew to our home late the same day. Great service!

Initial problem investigation led to the discovery of an improperly installed breaker that caused problems in the panel. The guy from Gaddie was super friendly, repaired the panel, and installed the right breaker. He worked pretty quickly too, so the cost wasn't too bad. My only complaint was that it took a couple tries to get someone on the phone the first time, but leaving a message was effective.

Mike and all his staff were great to work with. We bought a deal for a ceiling fan installation but we also needed some additional work done. The ceiling fan is in our bedroom but there is no overhead electrical. The previous owners installed a ceiling fan but just ran a cord and chain down to an outlet. Add to the problem that our house has vaulted ceilings with no attic to be able to look at or access the wiring. Mike was upfront that trying to find electricity for the fan might be an exercise in futility but we decided to try. (I hated the look of that stupid cord and chain.) His electricians arrived promptly on time. After looking things over, they decided the best course of action was to try to fish a line from one of the outlets up to the ceiling. It took some planning and ingenuity but...success! We now have a pretty, up-to-date fan that actually runs on a switch. No more ugly 1987 fan or cord/chain! They also installed an extra outlet for us in our garage and did an excellent job. Would definitely hire them again!

Very good service.  Responded the same day we called and arrived on time.  A 220V breaker was flipping when the dryer ran.  They found a loose wire and accomplished the least expensive, easiest fix.  I really appreciated the good diagnosis and lack of upcharging by  finding something more elaborate to fix.

All went well.  The job required working from a low crawl space.  It took two men close to three hours to complete the job.  Everything was cleaned up afterward.

These folks are so nice to work with. When I called about the problem, the gentleman explained what type of fixture I currently had and if I wanted to purchase the replacement myself, what to buy and where I could get it. He knew that I was leaving town and had time constraints. I purchased the fixture the same day I called and they came the next day to install it. They were in and out in no time. Very nice people to work with.

They installed a fan in a room with no previous wiring and did an excellent job.  The only thing I was a little unhappy with was that they did not mount the bracket for the remote control on the wall.  They said that if I wanted it mounted to use anchors to do it but did not do it themselves which I thought was included in the installation.  It shocked me so that I didn't say anything to them but later thought it was not right.
Response from Gaddie Electric Inc
"Prior experience has taught us that customers do not usually know exactly where they want their remotes mounted until they have used their new fan for awhile. We recommend customers use their fan first to determine which location they prefer to switch it from based on their preferred traffic pattern in the room. We will come back and install remotes if requested. It is a pretty straight forward process and most customers prefer to mount their remote themselves to avoid being tied down to a second appointment time. Our apology for the confusion."

It has been a year; here are the important points:  I sold my home, but the sale was contingent upon passing a code inspection.  The inceptor noticed an electrical deficiency.  Gaddie appreciated my issue, came the NEXT DAY, fixed the problem, and did so for a fair price.  I was extremely appreciative for their quick and reasonable response.

At the beginning of my kitchen remodel, my original electrician bailed on me. I found Gaddie Electric on Angie'sList and gave them a call. Mark Gaddie came out almost immediately to give me an estimate for the work we wanted done. His crew showed up as scheduled and did all the preliminary work. They made the necessary arrangements with the city when it was time for the panel upgrade - I had to make a decision on grounding (that I totally did not understand) - so I asked the city electrical guy for advice - he told me that the crew I had was the BEST crew in the city and to do whatever they recommended. Very High Praise!! The crew had to stop by in stages to get all the work done - they prepped for a microwave and under-cabinet lighting and all the can lights. They had to come back and install as each stage got done. I was beyond satisfied with all their work!! I'm not sure how many times the crew came to my house - but the bill did not exceed the original estimate - very nice!!

Communication was the most difficult part of the transaction. Approximate times (not windows) for doing the work were given, but not met. This is understandable because jobs can run over. However, some communication about this lets the homeowner know that in fact, workers will  turn up at some point, and that the homeowner's schedule is also being respected.  The work was well done with patience and care.
Response from Gaddie Electric Inc
"A review of our payroll records indicates that each time we have done work at this property we have dispatched a 2 man crew consisting of a licensed Journeyman Electrician and an Apprentice Electrician, which meets the state required ratio of not more than 2 apprentices per Journeyman Electrician. We do not dispatch unsupervised Apprentice Electricians to jobs without meeting the state ratio requirements."

I like them very much. They were very nice to explain over the phone and it was a simple fix. This time I didn’t have to spend anything which was awesome. I have been very happy with them and I had a number of electrical things done. Their price was average. The quality was very good. They were friendly, they answered the call and they were well experienced. I have used them multiple times.
