Things I liked: - Gary provided good advice during the planning stage. - Handled small mods to the plan without tacking on extra charges. - The results are great. I am 100% satisfied.
Things I didn't like (minor nits, but things that could have been handled better): - I thought Gary would be here more often during the project, but I really didn't see him much. There were some recurring disagreements between his workers which would have been handled if he had been around. - Somewhat related to Gary not being around a lot, we were not always clear on status and schedule during the project, and sometimes had to call him for updates. In hindsight I wish we had set up a regular time to meet or just talk on the phone each day for a couple minutes to review status.
Overall I am very happy with how things turned out.
Sincerely,
Erik Vazquez
"I, Michelle, have spoken to John our irrigation tech and this client was given a written estimate for the work, which I have a copy of. She approved the work to do be. As the job was completed and John was working on the irrigation system the husband added additional work to the job which had to be completed on another day. Thus, another bill was created. The client never called for an explaination of the two different invoices which stated the work which was completed."
"AS IN MOST CASES THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY. THE MEMBER SIGNED THE CONTRACT AND AGREED TO OUR PRICE. IF HE DIDN'T AGREE WITH THE COST HE COULD HAVE OBTAINED A NEW CONTRACTOR. AS WITH MOST LANDSCAPING WORK WEATHER AND PROBLEMS ON OTHER JOB SITES EFFECT EVERYONE. THE SUMMER OF 2006 WAS UNCOMMONLY WET AND THE MEMBER WAS ASKED TO TURN THE WATER OFF IN THE PROBLEM AREAS. WE RETURNED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AS REQUESTED BY THE MEMBER. AN OUTSIDE FENCING COMPANY WAS HIRED WHICH ALSO CREATED DELAYS. THE MEMBER WAS GIVEN PLANTS, A WINDOW WELL GRATE AND SOD REPLACEMENT WAS COMPLETED DUE TO PET DAMAGE AT NO CHARGE. THE MEMBER NEVER ASKED TO BE COMPENSATED FOR HIS WATER BILL AND WE WROTE OFF THE FINAL PORTION OF HIS BILL. AS FAR AS OUR COMPANY KNEW ALL THE ISSUES DURING THE CONSTRUCTION WERE RESOLVED TO THE CUSTOMERS LIKING."
