It went very well. Heather was able to accommodate us even on a very short notice. She was very professional, stayed in touch, and made us feel totally comfortable during our absence from our "babies". She pays attention to detail, and left everything looking better than it had when we left! Would highly recommend.

Wonderfully; we received text photos of the animals and good communication. The second time we hired this team, we had run out of crickets, and Heather went to the pet store to get them (and worms) for the lizard, so that he would have enough to eat.

Fuzzy Pants is the most genuine, responsible, accommodating pet service I have ever used. Punctual, flexible scheduling, and has helped with a last minute trip to the emergency vet in a time of crisis. Will use them as long as I live in Colorado Springs, and highly recommend them!

Heather did a great job!  We've recently moved to the Colorado Springs area, and had been using the same catsitter at our previous location for over 10 years.  We have two fairly large Norwegian Forest Cats, one of which needs twice daily medication (both oral meds and inhaled meds for asthma).  Heather did a great job...  The initial interview process was both professional and thorough... She kept us posted via SMS (with pictures :-)) during the course of our trip, and everything was in great shape when we returned!  I strongly recommend Fuzzy Pants for your petsitting needs...

Heather wrote in my journal daily, sent me some pictures of my cats, she sent text messages, she watered my plants, she collected my mail, ....I could go on!  I am very happy with her service and would recommend her to anyone!  I will be calling her for my next trip too!

She is so smart! She has Veterinary experience and is able to medicate dogs and cats. She tolerated my entire tribe of fur
creatures to sleep in bed with her too! She would wade through four feet of snow to get to your front door to care for your pet (s).
I hope I won't be telling too much but she did my dishes (OMG)! I felt guilty. She went above and beyond what I ever expected.
She's a SAINT! My animals were secure and loved and my house was spotless and she never needed to do that stuff!

She takes excellent care of our pets and home. From a mid-day visit to 2 weeks in Europe the and quot;kidsand quot; are always well cared for. We are always so thankful when we have to travel that we don't have to worry about our home and pets

Everything was great! Karen is trustworthy and professional, and she loves our animals just as much as we do. She did everything that we would have done if we were at home, and her pricing was reasonable. She'll even spend the night if necessary.

A friend recommended Karen to me, and I am so glad to have had the referral. Everything went great. I was a new chicken owner (three hens), and I have one dog. Karen came over three times a day to feed and take care of them. The animals and house were in great shape when I returned from my vacation. I'll be going on another vacation this year and have asked Karen to watch the animals again.

The initial meeting was good besides them arriving over 30 minutes late. I created a specific instruction sheet and filled out their information sheet. They agreed to come 3 times a day. I do not think they did because I received a call that my dogs had wrecked my bedroom. They didn't tell me that the dogs were allowed in the other spare bedrooms even though I closed the doors. I came home to a house that once had new furniture and now it was chewed up. In one bedroom the dogs had dug a hole in the carpet. In the other they had peed on the carpet all surprises that I wasn't notified of. My bedroom had a chewed bed, box spring, and bed frame. They left a big bowl of water in the kitchen even though my dogs have a 20 gallon jug outside. This resulted in pee on my newly cleaned carpets. I had paid them before I left so I could not ask for a refund. The bottom line is I do not think they came 3 times a day because my dog is good at holding her pee and she does not have accidents when I am gone for most of the day. I think my dogs got bored and where restless being left alone for a very long time.
In response to Paws and Claws: My dogs are very well cared for. They go to the vet more than once a year and are on the best dog food from a natural pet store. Unless you are a vet and want to dispute the reports from Ft. Carson? The skin condition is in reference to my bulldog. I guess you don't know much about different breeds because if you did you would know that bulldogs are prone to dry skin. Her skin has improved drastically through salmon oil and a change in dog food because of me and quot;not caring for my petsand quot;. If you and your employees do not know how to watch dogs than why are you claiming to be a pet sitter? From the start your company avoided the issues from this visit. Your company simply left my house key on the front porch how much more avoidance can your company display. Take responsibility for you and your employees not doing your job. Your company is the only one we have had problems with pet sitting. Other companies have been able to do their job without incident.

Excellent - house was clean, dogs and cats were watered, fed and exercised (turned out). Came home to the same place I left. Great Experience

She visited the house several times a day, let the dogs out, walked them, fed and medicated them, took care of the hermit crab, watered the plants, turned on different lights, radio/tv so the house seemed occupied, I mean it was awesome! Also she has some veterinary medical training, which is good if you have older pets or pets with medical needs. Finally, she calls after you get home to ensure you are there (positive control so pets, plants, your homes security is never just up in the air). If she doesn't heart from you, she will come by to check on everything. That's awesome!

I realized two or three days before a 7-day trip in April 2008 that I didn't have anyone to take care of my two cats while I was gone. I got Karen's name from my vet and when I called her, we set an appointment for her to come to my house to meet my cats and set up the service. When she arrived, she was very friendly. She gave me several business cards and a refrigerator magnet along with a brochure and 7 glowing recommendation letters dating from October 2006 to September 2007. She also gave me a positive letter of review from her previous employer where she worked from February 2001 to October 2006, first as a kennel attendant and then Kennel Manager. Her brochure says she is bonded and insured and a member of the Colorado Springs Pet Sitters Network and Pet Sitters International. Her rates were from $25 to $35 per day depending on the number of pets, but I think that's mostly for dogs. Since she really didn't have to do much for my two cats, she only charged me $15 per visit and I left a check for her to pick up on her fist visit. Her brochure says fees for animals in cages/aquariums, animals requiring medication and overnight stays are unique to each situation and she gives discounts for active duty military and for 10 or more days of service. She said she usually doesn't like to come only every other day, but since I have cats and I was comfortable with it, she agreed to it. Her brochure also says she'll perform house-sitting services such as collecting newspapers/mail, watering plants/flowers, turning on lights, adjusting blinds and moving trash bins to the curb on trash day. My cats' reactions to strangers can range from extremely friendly to total indifference, but they seemed to like her. She had me fill out a 1-page information sheet about each of my cats and took down all my home and trip contact information. I showed her where I kept the cat food and told her how much to put out each time she visited. I showed her where the litter box and fresh litter were, as well as where to put the dirty litter. She had no problem with any of my directions for taking care of the cats or my house. She left me a note on her last visit on the day I was coming home, which was an extra one I hadn't paid her for, to let me know everything went well and asking me to call her to let her know I was home. When I failed to call her, she called me the next day to make sure she didn't need to come to my house again.
