Fantastic experience and fast tooâ ¦entire remodel done in just a few weeks

The foreman and crew were the hardest working group of men who went above and beyond to complete the project on time and on budget. I was extremely pleased with the quality of work and the attention to detail. My kitchen and dining room are so beautiful and exactly what I envisioned. I will be referring Fortune Homes to family and friends.

I'm new to the area and needed kitchenette built basically from scratch in my basement. I've never hired contractors before so I was nervous for the contractor-to-client relationship. I think its innate to not want to be taken advantage of in a field where you're a novice and unknowing. Scott and Jason were INCREDIBLY transparent and upfront with their quality and expectations. They promised to take care of me and my home and the team whole team followed through, they were absolutely steller! They communicated timely and effectively when hiccups arose and always gave me options in how to proceed. They got the whole project done in less than 3 weeks while providing incredible quality and attention to detail. I am so happy with their performance and highly recommend. Looking forward to saving up and having them come back and do more work!

Our project turned out to be everything I envisioned! The project manager (Jason) was fantastic! He listened and respectfully responded, working hard to achieve our vision! We LOVE our basement!

Fortune Homes themselves and their crew are great to work with and interact with, however, we were not the most thrilled with some of the contractors they hired for some of the work. The contractors were not as nice and we experienced some gaslighting incidents. Also, communication during the project was subpar between Fortune Homes, the contractors, and us the customer. There were multiple days where we were told they would show up to work on our project and never did. This was an issue for us as my wife and I both work and had to make arrangements to stay home from work. Also, some of the finish work has noticeable flaws which is a bummer. Cleanup concerning the tile work was less than desirable as well, as there are multiple areas with grout haze. When asked if they were planning on cleaning the tile, I was told it would go away with time and that it would be easy for me to clean. Overall I would give them a B-, good work overall but would only recommend with the caveats listed.

Absolutely the best experience from start to finish! Scott and his crew are meticulous, professional, and put their customer first! We had a basement bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and a wet bar, done by Fortune Homes. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and the quality of workmanship. Friendly and always courteous, every member of his crew were exceptional from framing, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, tile/flooring, and finishing. I got to know each member who worked on our project and they exemplify professionalism and quality!! It was very easy to work with Scott on describing what we wanted and he designed the best outcomes we could achieve. It turned out better than any other project we have done. With Fortune Homes, you get quality and something to admire and enjoy. They care as much as you do in the final goal and outcome of your project! We love everything about our results! We have other plans in the new year and can't wait to work with them again in refinishing a study and some master bathroom work. In an environment where quantity has overtaken quality these days, you can be guaranteed there is always a focus on best workmanship and delivering above expectations of what you asked for! Our master bathroom turned out better than we could have imagined. Everyone in Scott's employment was professional, friendly, and trustworthy. The quote he provided initially did not change on the final invoice. We have and will continue recommending them to anyone looking for a home improvement contractor.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Scott and his team. Each member of the crew was a joy to have in our home. Scott did many walk throughs while work was going on and would catch things before we did. Workmanship was outstanding. Scott was a great communicator and patient with us. We love our new space.

My kitchen turned out beautiful. Scott and his guys did a wonderful job. They do high quality work and were very efficient. It wasn't long after the demo that I had a working kitchen again and I love it. I had my neighbor over to see the kitchen and he loves it. Hopefully he will be giving you a call for a remodel.

These guys are too notch pros. Hired them for a kitchen remodel. It looks great and they didn't very timely. Very friendly and responsive. I would definitely hire them again.

Overall, I am quite happy with how my kitchen turned out, but they fell short on the details. The new cabinets don not go all the way to the ceiling like the old ones did, and their removal left an obvious line of glue or whatever and dirty area where they used to be. In most places, these lined up so it was not super noticeable, but in others there were big brown squares on the ceiling. They said several times they were going to paint them (as was in the contract), but they never did. I brought up this discrepancy, and they said it did not apply because the contract said drywall repair but ceiling repair. They rushed a lot of things on the last day and told me, **no offense, but we never want to come back here** The same thing happened with the new trim they placed around the floor. They just left a big ugly mess where the old trim used to be. Speaking of messes, they did a poor job of cleaning up when they left. I had to vacuum out all the cabinets and drawers, remove stickers from them, and wipe down all the cabinet faces which were covered in dust and residue. Some of the cabinet pulls were poorly installed with big splinters around the screws. They scratched the brand new floor in several places by not moving appliances carefully. The sink rattles horribly when the disposal is on. They did not paint some of the trim they put up. They did help me out by picking up one of the appliances and were nice people to be around, and the kitchen really is cool. But, overall, I do not feel I got my $17,000 worth (that does not include new appliances) because of the corners they cut rushing the job.

Scott and his team are incredible. From start to finish they had a personal touch and worked with us the whole way through. Very responsive and attentive. I could not have asked for a better team to remodel our condo. They provided assistance and guidance where needed. A great experience! The crew was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up each day. Scott and his design advice were very creative and helpful. It made my vision for my new kitchen come true. We removed walls to open up my kitchen and it was a lot of work. Scott was very patient and helpful to me in picking out my cabinets, granite tops, backsplash, knobs, lighting, and floors. As I watched the project come together, I was amazed and impressed at all the final details and trim that made it all come together. They will be my contractor for life.

An extremely creative company that will go out of the way to create the space you want without the delay like most other contractors. We are so pleased with our new bathroom. Complete remodel that has this the most awesome room in the house. Iâ ll hire these guys again and again!

By far the best in remodel and renovation with extreme attention to detail. I asked for an estimate and they were on-time and answered all of our questions with honest answers and left us with a feeling of trust and confidence in them. The Demolition of our old and outdated cabinets, tops, floor, and appliances were handled with a safe and courteous crew that cleaned up behind themselves as the preperations for the new kitchen design began to unfold. Each step of the process was fully explained and allowed us to become confident that our vision would become reality. They completed our kitchen with a final walk thru and explained everything from how to remove cabinet doors to the function of the appliances. Wow!!! More than an amazing job.
