Flooring America of Colorado Springs

They were fine. The price was comparable.

We purchased vinyl flooring from Flooring America of Colorado Springs. and liked the experience and the installation.  We decided to purchase carpet from them.  During the installation of the carpet our new vinyl was damaged!  They told us they wouldn't replace the vinyl but would cut the damaged section out and patch in a new piece!  We declined.  The carpet we purchased showed terrible wear, fraying and matting within 3 months of the installation.  We contacted Flooring America here in Colorado Springs and we were initially denied warranty replacement?  We pursued the issue and finally they agreed that we would get the carpet replaced so we decided to spend additional money and upgrade the quality of carpet.  We were told that we would only get a partial credit for the amount of our original carpet because they told us that we actually paid less for the carpet than what our final invoice showed?  How can they have paperwork that shows we paid less than the invoice we received at the time of service?   After much negotiating we agreed upon a price and ordered more expensive carpet and paid up front for the upgrade.  After a month the new carpet was not shipped and we were told that it wasn't available from the factory.  Thinking that something else might be going on, we contacted a Flooring America business in Denver and had them contact the manufacturer of the carpet, and they stated that they had plenty of carpet in stock.....how much did we need?  We approached the owner of Flooring America in Colorado Springs, and after much anguish we finally had our new carpet ordered and installed.  We are happy with the new carpet but should not have had to go through this process to get this resolved.  We are reminded of this issue everytime we see the damaged vinyl in our kitchen!
