I've been a member at this gym for over 2 years. I've seen a bunch of changes in the last couple years. They have re-organized the equipment, added some new TVs (wish they were a little bigger!), and shuffled things around. 10 Random Points that may help you get a feel for this gym. 1) The equipment is fairly moderm and state-of-the-art. It's mostly the same 2 brands, so it's not hard to figure out, and it helps your workout flow nicely. 2) They are slow to repair damaged equipment. If something goes down it will take them a couple weeks to fix it. 3) The staff can be good, or not. Some of them just sit and the desk and send text messages. They do not typically arrange or clean up the weights in the weight area from what I can see. It can be hard to find someone (to adjust a TV or the ceiling fans, for example). 4) They have a pretty good selection of equipment. There are only a few things I really need that they don't have, which is 1) A decline bench 2) a couple stairmasters 5) The prices are reasonable and it's very close to me. It's quick to get in and out, and there is lots of useful shops nearby to combine trips and save gas. 6) The traininer that my wife used she liked a lot. The training is reasonably priced. I don't use a personal traininer, but if I needed one I would probably give one of them a try. Generally it's the beginners who I see using trainers the most. I believe all of their personal trainers are certified, so it's not just some random person who doesn't have a clue. I've heard some of the trainers are better than others, so it's up to you to find the best one. 7) It's not a full-service health club, there are no showers. They do have 2 changing rooms and they have bathrooms, which they recently rennovated. Most people go home if they want to take a shower afterwards. 8) The clientelle is very diverse. You have the gym rats, the hardcore weight lifters, cardio junkies, new people, and everything in between. 9) If you have a child, their child-care service is awesome. We take advantage of this so I can take my child to the gym and have him be supervised while I get a good workout. It's reasonably priced. If you go to the gym 6 times a month or more, you should sign up for the monthly plan, and you are billed every month automatically. 10) The treadmills have an awesome view of Pikes Peak, which I find inspirational as I am plodding along putting on the miles. You can also watch your car in the parking lot to make sure no one is messing with it. They have new blinds they put down when the sun is setting so you don't have direct sunlight in your eyes.
Description of Work: We Needed a close place to work out. Wife got some personal training to help her get jump-started. I joined 2+ years ago because it was close and convenient. I've stayed because I've had no reason to change gyms.

It is very basic. They treat him good. It is the hours and affordability that makes him go there. They don’t have a pool and they have just the basic equipments. They are open from 5AM to 11 PM for seven days a week. They have physical fitness trainers and you can go as many times a week.
Description of Work: My husband goes to Fitness 19. He has been using it for the past two years. He goes there three or four times a week. It is only $19 a month.
