Ken is a very personable rep, as he took his time and explained our options. We went with Family as their price was very competitive and they installed the same brand as our old furnace. Removal and installation took about 5 hours and they did a great job. They scheduled the city inspection for us and it passed with flying colors. We would definitely recommend Family to anyone replacing or fixing a furnace.

I spoke with Ken today in regards to concerns with my furnace and high utility bills over the last two months in a home we recently purchased.  I was calling to get a quote and potentially schedule an appointment.  After describing my concerns, Ken and I spoke for what my wife said was an hour.  She's probably correct. He suggested that I try a few simple things on my own before spending money on a service call and inspection.  He was very nice, patient and honest with information that could have otherwise made him money.  He has earned my loyalty as a customer based on this experience.   I should add that my initial phone call was not answered, but I left a message.  Ken returned my phone within 30 minutes.

Really good work, really professional.

I'm a retired Air Force Colonel that has never lived long in one spot.  Now that I'm settled in Colorado Springs for good, Family Heating and Cooling will be my permanent service provider.  Ken is honest and highly skilled in his trade.  I am confident his prices are fair.  The workmanship is outstanding.  When my water heater blew out, Ken came out immediately (on the weekend) and prevented further water damage.  He could have taken advantage of the situation and charged extra, but he didn't.  He also took the time to answer my questions and advise me on several heating issues with my home with no sales pressure.  Bottom line...He is good and I trust him.

Went well - when a couple of small items needed tending to were prompt in getting to them.   Good staff and professional.

I was informed at all times of the work being done. He was courteous and professional. He treated my  home as if it wearing protective covers over his shoes and cleaning up behind him. I would trust this company with all my future heating and cooling needs.

Everything went great. We checked with other contractors before hand and unlike them, FAC was prompt in getting to see us as well as follow ups with regards to the estimates. Some other companies took 2 weeks to get back to us.
We were glad that we followed up with them and got an alternative to the bigger companies in the springs. They have a great 2 year warranty that fits right in the middle of the little guys and the big guys. I trust them to come back and deal with the furnace if it comes to that.
They were on time and the estimate didn't differ at all from the final payment.

During the summer we finally decided to get AC. We called several contractors including Family Heating and Cooling. Family came in the middle as far a costs go with a similar timetable. Ken came in and gave us an estimate and didn't try to up sell us on anything.
Ken asked what we were wanting and explained the pros and cons of what we wanted as far as heating and cooling. He inspected our site and gave us an estimate that didn't change at all at installation time. The only thing that was different was they they were done about an hour sooner than they said they would be.  
The only quibble I had was having to explain to the electrician that we wanted to have the electrical conduit hidden behind a bulkhead. The electrical contractor quickly changed it to my satisfaction.
At inspection time with PPRBD all inspections passed right away with no comments.
