Empire Roofing is a locally owned and family operated business. Empire Roofing was started in 1990 by Joe Apsey-Vaughn, A Colorado Springs native, who now resides in Black Forest. In the early days, Joe was just looking to work everyday to provide for his family. Joe would do estimates in the morning, and do the roofs in the afternoon, he was a true “1 man shop”! He always was fair with his customers and was known for always doing the right thing. It did not take long until word spread and Empire started to grow. In 1998, Empire earned the Excellence in Customer Service award from the Better Business Bureau. Flash-forward to today, Empire still operates using the same principals. Always striving to give each customer the best experience possible, during the challenging process of having their roof replaced. Empire prides itself on the fact that 75% of all of their work comes from referrals or previous customers. That proves that “always doing the right thing” is the formula for success!

While we don't like to make excuses, we were just hit with the largest hail storms in the history of Colorado Springs, and our staff was spread very thin. We do appreciate the feedback and will certainly be implementing some different strategies to ensure that this experience does not happen again. We at Empire Roofing and Restoration take pride in providing excellent experiences and customer service to all of our customers. In your complaint you stated you were unhappy with the scheduling process and the length of time it would take to get your gutters completed, unfortunately due to the historic hailstorm that took place in Colorado Springs at the end of this summer it has caused our scheduled to get quite backed up since the storm destroyed a majority of the homes in this city. In your complaint you stated that the workers did not show up as initially scheduled but the next day, unfortunately our crew was finishing up a previous job that took longer then anticipated but we communicated that information to you and made sure that you stayed informed through the whole process. You mentioned that you had some damage to siding to your home during the process. Empire Roofing and Restoration is a long-term company that stands behind its product and workmanship. If you are interested, we would be happy to meet and take a look at the stated damage. If the damage; was in fact caused by our crews, we will be happy to rectify the situation.
