ELITE NAILS

Today I went to this salon after scheduling an appointment, I arrived on time with my six year old daughter. I had on my mask and she did not have a mask on, as per state mandate anyone under ten is not required to wear one, upon walking in, not to many customers were there, the owner a “man” saw us and rudely told us to wash our hands, I complied. Being a small business owner myself, I understand in this great country, we have the right to refuse service to anyone! However, this story is one of abuse of that power! Okay, so we washed our hands and waited to be seen, I was finally seen 20 minutes after my appointment, I was having my shellac nail polish removed ( which requires each finger to be wrapped in tinfoil) once each finger was wrapped in foil the owner says to me “ I require your daughter to wear a mask in my shop) I said “ sure you can give her one” he then said “ I do not provide masks” in return I said “well sir, what would you like me to do!?” Any how some words were exchanged with another patron, and the owner then decided to give my six year old a mask. Ok, fine I can deal with all of that! However, in the middle of my manicure my child sitting next to me, because with corona I have no other solutions, one of the employees needs to pass, and says to my six year old “move” I then said “the word is excuse me” I took ten dollars out of my bag put it on the table exchanged some words and left. This is an abuse of power, it was publicly humiliating, and this man is an egotistical, Misogynist, creep! Every time I’ve ever been there he has shown abusive behaviors to his patrons and his employees! I went there today because it is close to home and during these times, it was convenient! I beg and urge any woman or man to never use this salon and completely stay away from this horrid horrid “man”. This mask mandate should not allow people to abuse their power, also, this man is clearly a woman hater, and in my personal opinion, entered this Field of work to abuse women.

I was very pleased with the service and the price and the quality.

I found Elite Nails here on Angie's List. I called to see if they took walk-ins. I was told yes, but appointments are best. Twenty minutes later my daughter was getting acrylics done by John and Tom was doing my pedicure! They were kind and constantly asked if we were happy with what was done. My daughter got hers filed "stiletto". She had to explain the style to John- I don't think he'd done it before, she was very happy with the result. John also made sure that we knew to call if we had concerns?. The massage part of the pedicure & manicure were my favorite!

Greeted quickly and was asked to go to a nail tech station. Again station was very clean was greeted by Tammie very nice and professional; suggested what I could do and gave me the price. Was very pleased with the whole process. I will be back again.

Johnny is great, very professional. I have had a pedicure and solar nails - both great. I have dry feet and Johnny put something on them to help with calluses and it really does work (worth the extra $3).

I was lucky and came as a walk in. I explained what I had and what I wanted. They listened and asked for my feed back as they worked to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for.
I was told that appointments are recommended and usually walk ins will end up waiting.

Tammy, Johnny and Henry are amazing. They always remember their customers. They are very customer service focused. You always get a great value. Clean shop. Great people.

Have used this provided for over 6 years, wonderful service, excellent pricing, meticulous work. Never any problems with chipping, flaking or lifting of the product on the nails, the Pedicure is superb and so relaxing. Family owned and operated, very sweet and nice people.

Will continue using for as long as they are in business.
