 + 0 moreI originally contacted DW Construction because we need some railing added to our front door for insurance purposes. Kevin at DW Construction was one of the few people who could manufacture the custom railing AND their bid came in the lowest. Kevin had his fabrication team come out and take a look so they knew exactly what they needed to do. The fab team had a couple of suggestions that added to the structural integrity of the railing, while maintaining the look we wanted. The fab team then brought the railings out to dry fit them after manufacturing them to make sure they fit. In talking to Kevin, I found out he also sold patio heaters and hot tubs. On a whim, we went in to look and he offered us a fabulous price on both a hot tub and the patio heaters we were looking for! It also turns out that he has a great landscaping and electrical team that we're now working with landscape our backyard. Kevin and DW Construction can do it all!

The Kevin's professional knowledge and that of local building requirements enabled him to design the exact deck we were looking for. His construction team is the best, never missing a beat competing with cold weather almost everyday. When it comes time for the next major project DW Construction will be the first team we call.

From the beginning, Kevin and his crew were meticulous on the construction; the finished product was absolutely awesome and completely as expected...there were no surprises. Minor modifications/improvements were suggested along the way and incorporated without issue or concern. The project was completed on-time and was fully inspected by Regional Building Inspectors (zero issues/concerns/discrepancies). DW Construction, throughout the entire project, were exceptionally professional. The overall project was completed on-budget, on-schedule, and as-designed...with no exceptions!
Description of Work: DW Construction (Kevin) competed the following work: - ROOF EXTENSION: -- Extended Roof over deck area...roof extension was approximately 500 sq. feet -- Integrated aspen tongue and groove ceiling, lights, speakers. -- Matched new roof tile with existing roof tile to the EXACT manufacturer type, style, and color. -- Identified pre-existing roof drainage issue -- Kevin proactively re-engineered the roof valley to correct problem -- Fully inspected by Regional Building -- passed on first time with zero issues; very good rapport with Building Inspectors - DECK CONSTRUCTION: -- Designed and constructed 3-level outdoor living space covering approx 1100 sq. ft -- Integrated new house entry door onto main level -- Integrated all 3 levels to provide continuous and natural flow -- Incorporated Outdoor kitchen area, hot-tub placement, and gas fire pit -- All areas designed for composite decking and minimal life-time maintenance -- Design incorporates latest technology for outdoor low-voltage lighting -- Fully inspected by Regional Building -- passed on first time with zero issues; very good rapport with Building Inspectors - Other -- Kevin was meticulous on the selection of quality material...across the board. -- Despite a very large amount of lumber used in this project...every board was straight, not splitting...definitely top-choice material selected by Kevin
