The roof is out of warranty and they insist they would not have left the anchor improperly waterproofed. Yet, there it is.  I climbed onto the roof to fix it with sealer from Home Depot (they were at least empathetic about it).  The provider said they could send someone but it is not in warranty.  All they could see now is the water damage and my handy work (I wasn't going to wait and let more water in).  My concern is that they were refusing to own the mistake and I am going to have to pay to fix the damage.  If it was my name on the roof, my craftsmanship in question, I would have been at least concerned and apologetic even if there was no way I planned on covering the repairs.  It speaks to the character of the company.

They actually have been working with us for a couple of months. They will be installing here any day. They probably came out the first time in June. They helped us with the insurance claim and everything. They were fabulous. They are easy to work with. They are very good about helping us understand the different types of roofing and what options we had and then providing samples. They went out of their way by meeting with us and the adjusters as we have never gone through that process before. We actually have an addition we are putting on the house at the same time and they have been great working around the timing of the other subcontractor. Frankly, they haven’t done anything wrong; in fact, they have called me for scheduling and have asked me about the addition that is coming up, if it is ready and things like that. They have told me to call them three days ahead so that they can come and fix it. They have been great. We have spent a total of about $10000. They are the only ones who followed through and when they helped us with the adjuster, we basically ended up putting up a new roof on for no cost. We would absolutely use them again in the future if necessary.
