"Thank you so much for your review! We enjoyed working with you and look forward to any future projects."
It went great! this was a intricate set of tasks with a lot of opportunities for a screw-up, which did not happen. When you decide to take out your old kitchen and have to make do without one, you cannot wait to get it over with as soon as possible.
Michael Pinkerton did an outstanding job of sequencing the work, so that every single day there were workmen doing what needed to be done and making visible progress toward completion. There were adjustments here and there but generally the changes from the original plan were small.
These guys came in on time/ on schedule and within budget. There was no nickel and dime change orders. The subcontractors that Pinkerton works with were talented and outstanding. I had complete trust in their judgement and honesty. We alway felt comfortable with leaving them alone while we were not in the house. The best experience, was that you could count on the fact that when subcontractors were suposed to show up they did!
I thought that communications amoungst all the players was as good as it could get.
I thought that the pricing was really fair. There was the usual number of unknowns but This contractor did a good job of anticipating contigencies and scoping the cost estimate. I am a finance guy and I have a good feel for what things should cost.
Accordingly, I would give this contractor an A+ in cost estimating and cost control.
It ended up being installed one day later than expected, but that was okay. Michael was out here all day and had his nose to the grindstone all day. He was diligent in his installation of the door and we are very happy with it.
