Dr. SOOT has been chimney sweeping in the Colorado Springs metro area since 1989. We provide professional chimney and wood-burning appliance maintenance and repairs. We also do dryer vent cleaning. We sell and install woodstoves, inserts and fireplaces. Through our sister company, Advanced Clean Ducts Inc., we provide residential air duct cleaning. We love the stove. The performance is great and it is well designed and attractive. The stove was delayed from the factory, and it came with a malfunctioning fan switch. At each step along the way to resolving these issues, Dr. Soot was responsive, timely and professional. We recommend Dr. Soot without reservation.

I am so glad I hired Dr. Soot Chimney Sweep. The chimney cap was damaged by hail and needed replacement. The work was done on time and the quality couldn't be better. They are big on safety, which is very important when working on the roof. No wonder they are busy but definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend.

The crew did a great job and provided some great ideas on how to insulate the fireplace when we are not using it to keep the cold air drafts from coming in. I really appreciated that. Loved the top hats they were wearing when they showed up at the door!

We used Dr. Soot long before there was an Angie's List. They were professional then, and they were professional this time. They did an excellent job cleaning the chimney, and recommended we put a cap on the top of the chimney. They did that, and now we don't have to worry about animals getting down the chimney and getting stuck. The price was excellent, the people courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Soot.

Dr. Soot was recommended to me by another contractor I had hired. One woman came out for the work and she was punctual. The job was completed in less than an hour and there was no mess left behind. The cost was reasonable. She completed the job quickly and in a professional manner. She did an absolutely excellent job.

This is the second time I have used them. Both times went great. They are knowledgeable, friendly and professional.
They cleaned out my chimney and took pictures. They pointed out any problem areas. The first time it did not need cleaning so they just inspected it. They could have "cleaned" it and charged me and I would have never known but they didn't. They sent me a postcard when it was time to do it again.
