DMC Sewer and Water Repair

Dan came out the day that I called. He diagnosed an outdoor leak that another plumber had misdiagnosed as a drainage issue. He scheduled his crew to come and they came promptly as scheduled. The whole crew was friendly and cheerful, despite the job being bigger and messier than anticipated. They tried to keep the area as clean as they could, using tarps and railroad ties to keep mud off the lawn. They hauled off the runny mud to a place we designated in the pasture instead of using it to fill in the hole. They put dry dirt back in the hole to minimize future settling problems. They cleaned up and put the railroad ties and walkway stones in place, completing a big job in a single day. We will definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs!

Because so many basements flooded in May and June, there was a backlog of work, so our property couldn't be done immediately. However, Dan came out to inspect right away after I called him. Even though he couldn't do the work immediately, he instructed me (and my teen boys) how to do an interim fix to at least let the basement dry out and not re-flood. It was ugly but it worked and it was easy! I really appreciate the respect and concern he had for us to enable us to do a temporary fix.
When the time came for his crew to do the work, they showed up on time, parked thoughtfully in the cul-de-sac and driveway, and got right to work. They were friendly and polite and hard-working. They included me in the decision making, but obviously they were the experts, and I agreed with their suggestions about where to put the swales and water channels. They were even willing to work with the landscaping materials (river rock & pebbles) that we already had on the property, saving us all time and money.
They used top of the line landscaping material, and were very careful when they drove the backhoe into our yard. I could not believe how hard they worked, and yet had a good sense of humor, and were pleasant to be around. 
Dan guaranteed the work, which proves how much he trusts his crew to do things right the first time. Since then we have had some major gully-washers and some days of slow steady rain, and an absolutely dry basement! 
I won't need to have them come back since they did it right the first time, but I wouldn't mind hiring them again; they were awesome to work with! I highly recommend DMC sewer and excavating, even if you have to wait, it's worth it! There's a reason they're so busy...they're the BEST!

Excellent!  Response time and completion of project were quick and thorough.  The immediate problem, basement flooding, was stopped within one day of project start with French drain and grading at the most critical area.  Additional French drains, berm, and grading were completed within one week.  Both Dan and his crew were very professional at all times.  Dan is extremely knowledgeable and made sure we understood exactly what the problems were and how they could be fixed.  The contract was clear and the price was fair.  We highly recommend DMC.

I had new landscaping right where they needed to excavate, and after they were done, they replanted and repaired the drip irrigation system--it looks good as new. My excavation was deeper than normal--11 or 14 feet, I forget which exactly.  I got to watch and had my questions answered and explained to me.

Dan was great! He actually managed to come out a day earlier than he said he would. He not only communicated great, but even took pictures of the during and after. If I had not seen the pictures and had my line cleaning guy out there, I wouldn't have even known he had been there. He didn't have to replace the line and told me that all it needed was a clean out the rest of the way. Very honest as I would have never known. He installed the clean outs and not only buried the pit, but managed to spread the mulch back across the lawn like he had never been there. I will definitely recommend him and use him again for any other rental houses we have issues with. Thanks Dan!

They did an excellent job in the decommissioning of the old septic tank and installation of the new. They quoted me a price and stuck to it even when they had to dig down through bedrock.  I would certainly use them again.
