Owen gave us a very reasonable quote the day after I called him and was ready to start the project the next week. His team cut up the old driveway and hauled away the debris and poured the next day. The finished product was perfect!

Everything went really well, even when things, like late concrete deliveries happened. Everyone was super friendly and professional. I thought the workmen, Jose, Jose, and Edwin were great. They were so patient with the crazy lady (me) who designed an insane porch set up and who wanted to put the pets paw prints in the concrete and with the dog that walked right through the concrete on the last day...... They even suggested that the large patio have the break lines cut in the next day so that they would be smoother and less of a tripping hazard for dancing, even though it meant extra work and expense. I know that my pyramid steps were a lot of extra work too. They even called in two extra guys for a couple hours to get them poured.

Owen and his crew were amazing! They came out on time and worked hard all day long. The first day they poured the new 320 square foot topping and the 100 square foot patio slab and dug out for the new drive. The slabs looked amazing and Owen's crew cleaned everything up and said they would be back on Monday to pour the drive. Owen and his crew showed up early Monday morning and got right to forming up the drive. They worked quickly and efficiently and had everything ready when the concrete truck showed up. They got the drive poured and did another amazing job.
Owen is an amazing friendly and informative person. He explained the whole process and was able to form up the patio and walk to make a nice delineation between the two. He and his crew did great work and I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them for any of my future concrete work.

It was fine. They did a good job. I made details going and everything and we ended up she wanted the patio to be a little bit larger than what we talked about before so I made detail going and everything and gave them to him. He did not do a re-coat. He asked for a half the cost which is kind of customary pretty regular thing so I gave him that. The guy was easy to work with and they were fast and courteous. I don't have too much to say anything bad about their actual work. I would use them again in the future.

Absolutely fantastic ! Great job. This is the THIRD concrete job I hired them for. Owen and his crew are the best, very friendly and professional. They came at 9am and did not leave until 3pm because the pad was in the shade and took a long time to dry enough for finishing. This had NO effect on the price, which was the same as originally estimated. Owen WILL PROMPTLY return your calls. His prices are EXTREMELY competitive, call him for an estimate and you will be pleased with the results.

After two postponements, the work went well. The owner, Owen, was on site, supervising his workers most of the time. Rapport between Owen and workers was great. All workers were industrious, worked well together and were polite and pleasant. Work proceeded mostly on schedule - just a couple of delays due to weather.
Concrete was poured evenly and with proper rebar bracing (a problem with old patio).
Finished product is beautiful.

Owen is very professional and a pleasure to work with. He responded immediately to a request for an estimate. I originally was only going to have a new front concrete patio installed, but I also showed him an old wooden deck in my backyard that I planned on removing in the future. He immediately gave me another estimate for both patios - basically a "two for one" deal that I could not pass up, so I went ahead with the work on both patios. His very polite crew arrived on time and were responsive to any requests I had. They worked h****** the job and cleaned up after themselves, causing very minimal disturbance to my yard - considering the heavy equipment and trucks that were needed. You WILL be very satisfied with the price and the results.

When we called the owner answered and quickly scheduled a visit. We got an estimate and date when we could have them do it. On the appointed day the crew was there on time. They waisted no time, by lunch they had torn up the old driveway and that afternoon they new driveway had been poured. The workers were friendly and respectful and cleaned up after themselves. We've recieved numerous compliments and we made sure everyone knows who did it! Overall no muss, no fuss, no drama.

Seven companies came out to look at our deteriorating wood walkway and steps - six gave us estimates for replacing the wood with concrete or pavers - we narrowed it down to the three concrete companies who are licensed by El Paso County - picked Discount Concrete because Owen Roberts, the owner, is very personable and responsive and his estimate was in the middle, nearer the low one than the high one.
Owen helped us choose a color to tint the concrete with. He had a helpful suggestion about creating a swale for the runoff from a down spout which we preferred to the pipe-under-the-sidewalk-and-opening-somewhere-in-the-lawn solution other contractors suggested. He was flexible about scheduling the work and showed up on time the day arranged. Rain threatened, so the pouring was put off until the next day. The crew cleaned up all debris.
We are very happy with the walkway and steps - looks great. There is a little streaking on the riser of one of the steps, but that may fade in time - I'm hoping it will.

They arrived when expected, quickly removed a very long concrete driveway, hauled away the concrete and poured the new one. It cured to a smooth, scored finish that has not yet cracked in nearly two years. There was one minor incident. Their Spanish-speaking concrete removal crew cut my telephone and Internet cable but I should have know it was in that general area under the driveway and warned them to watch for it so it was half my fault. The job took longer than anticipated but it was December after all. There were several days when it was too cold to pour concrete so I had to live with the dirt much longer than I thought I would. When they were finally able to pour, they covered the new concrete with insulated tarps and blankets so it would dry evenly. They also advised me about the best sealant to buy. I had to call him out once a few months later to look at what I thought were signs of flaws. He came out right away and explained to me that it was normal to have small cracks in the seams. After nearly two years, I have not seen any other cracks yet. I would recommend this company again and may use them again myself for the front walk.

Owen listened to what we wanted, made some suggestions and gave us a bid. The bid was lower than others so we decided to give him a try. His son very competantly ran the crew that arrived, they were knowelgeable, professional and did everything they could to give us a great job.Some heavy flagstones had to be moved out of the way, no problem they just did it. The driveway apron was a challenging project as the old culvert had to be dug up, cleaned out and connected to a new section to make the drive wider.These guys handled every thing as it came up. We have beautiful colored pour that has been stamped with a wonderful design. They cleaned up very well and left us with a job they and we can be proud of.
