Jorge was wonderful. He was very responsive during the initial setup of the project and was definitely the best priced. He and his crew finished the work quickly and made all the upgrades we requested which integrated well with the existing deck. We had one section of railing that became loose. Jorge responded quickly and made the necessary adjustments. We will definitely use his service again for future decking needs.

I contacted Mr. Velez late last summer but he was booked up...so we planned on work to start on my deck at the start of May. A few setbacks due to rain but once work began it was done in a timely manner with great attention to detail and quality. I could not be more pleased with my beautiful deck and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top quality deck work.

Jorge and his team did great work for us on our front deck. We recently purchased the home and he was patient with us as we went through the home buying process and then he was ready to work as soon as we closed on the home. He was honest and hard working and came through doing everything he said he would. He cleaned up his work area and finished the work nicely. We will certainly use him again in the future!

He began a few days early and continued to work until it was perfectly installed. He was very careful and returned the area to its original condition.

Jorge was great! I contacted Jorge and he came to the house within 2 days to give me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable so we scheduled the work to take place in 4 weeks. Jorge and his wife did the majority of the work themselves. They were easy to work with and very nice. The craftsmanship is incredible and it's just beautiful. All of my neighbors think it's beautiful!

Jorge was super and we are so happy with our new railing! He worked with us to stay within budget and designed a beautiful and affordable railing to complete our deck. He was prompt and fast, and actually made our deck even better than before (there were some uneven stairs that were previously put on the deck that he adjusted at no additional cost). It really completes our yard and we have enjoyed it so much. We would definitely recommend Deck World!

The job took several days. Provider was very professional and took the time to do it right. Also removed all the trash and did touch-up so that the deck was like new. Very happy with the job and my much-improved deck.

Jorge and his wife completed all the work. We had a challenge matching the stain but Jorge remained positive and helpful and did not increase his bill for the extra effort to get the stain matched. We are very happy with the results.

They did a great job. They were prompt and did good work. It was a reasonable cost for what they did. I am going to have them come back out in a couple of weeks and restain it.

We needed to have the work done quickly as we were preparing to the rent out the house, and he was able to work with us to complete it prior to the renters moving in. All construction materials and debris were promptly removed. We were very happy with the overall result and the deck was beautiful. I would use them again and recommend them.

Jorge is a good guy, very honest, and gives you several options as to how to fix something and let's you choose the path that fits your cost and functional needs. He doesn't try to oversell services, and does a good job.

I had an average experience with them. The work done was good for the price that we paid.

I was having my house painted, and the painter leaned against the railing of my deck. The entire railing fell off because the wood was rotting where it was attached. I called Deck World for the repair, and they did an excellent, excellent job. They gave me an accurate bid and could do the work right away. He got the work done within a few hours, and I was very happy with the work.

I just moved to Colorado and found Jorge Velez on Angie's List. His quote for the job was the lowest of three I received. I have a huge redwood deck but the stain application from the previous owner was awful -- splotchy and very dark in places. I came home just as Mr. Velez was finishing sanding the deck and was in awe of the difference it made. He counseled me through choosing a stain color, was incredibly helpful and the ultimate professional. He said he also does landscaping. Given the level of service (quality, cost and professionalism), I will be using him for that as well.

We got a number of estimates, and Deck World was the lowest. However, my wife was personally impressed with Mr. Velez, and since she is an excellent judge of character, we decided to go with him. He sanded down the deck, which took a day and a half, and then used a good quality oil-based stain. The deck looks great. He even cleaned up the patio underneath the deck, which he was not responsible for. Mr. Velez is also a carpenter and furniture maker.
