Turned out better than I could have imagined.  Very high quality of craftsmanship! I would highly recommend DDI.  I will most certainly use them again!

The service and workmanship was outstanding. He did an excellent job. He has done other work for us before and it was also excellent, so that is why I rehired him.

They do an outstanding job.

DDI of Colorado is very Professional. Darrell Tuxworth is a General Contractor but also does beautiful carpentry. He keep the people who work for him to his high standards. They keep the site clean. When they leave for the day it is all very clean. When DDI of Colorado started the projects I was given an estimate of the cost and what would be needed. They work on the Private Wall and found that the wall l had dropped two feet. They lifted that up and then found that the vertical boards had not been protected and were completely rotten. Darrell showed me where the wood was almost gone because of water damage. We put new boards in. Then off the decks. The decks were a mess. The former owner had put Pine on the decks (Pine is for indoor floors not decks). The "Upper Deck" was a mess. It turn out to be held up with one board. It was beautiful what DDi of Colorado did. The deck is Trek boards. The railing is new and to code. The Deck faces the North/West. So, they but a new roof over the deck. Plus, Darrell put some beautiful finishing touches to the deck so it is not just a deck, with carpentry.
The "Lower Deck" was worse. DDI of Colorado had to address the water damage, because the former owner did not put a room under the deck. So, water could not get out and had done unbelievable damage to the house. Darrell made a system that would drain from the upper deck to the field. If water got into the lower deck it would drain from a "french drain" to the field behind. The flooring of the lower deck was rotting and we put Trex down on the floor. Then They also painted the under neath of the deck and replaced the rotten vertical boards. Last they put a air vent thru the area that would have been a room on other houses. So, air will dry in that area. DDi of Colorado found that the water had leaked through the wall and had destroyed the a main support beam ,which allowed the house to be sitting on the sliding glass door. So, thank goodness it is lift away from the sliding glass now.
It is so beautiful now. I love it!!
