TECHNICIANS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE INSTALLATION. THE COST WAS LESS THAN OTHER BIDS THAT I GOT. THEY WERE EXPEDIENT, PROFESSIONAL, EXPERIENCED AND VERY FRIENDLY. ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND PROVIDED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO ACCENT THEIR ANSWERS. THE INSTALLATION WENT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS AND COMPLETED IN ONE DAY AS PROMISED.

We were very pleased with the level of service from the initial salesman to the installers. We even felt comfortable leaving them in our home while we had to run out for errands. Everything happened on time or sooner. The quality is great. And to top it off, we get a Costco rebate, since they are Costco's contracted provider.

There was a maintenance issue with furnace. They were professional, knowledgeable with the systems. They did a good job. There was no issues. They were in and out quickly. They took care of the problems quickly. They gave us self maintenance things to keep the system efficient and running well.

Every day I notice my extremely quiet heater and am thankful for having it. Sometimes I just want to take a coffee break and hang out and look at it. The job could not have gone easier. I have an old house and to do all the new exhaust lines and set up the air conditioner with electric outside was a challenge. Cooper, and especially their job manager, Jacob, did an amazing job of keeping me informed, making sure all the work with smoothly and was able to change the design of the new configuration of air intake etc. as needed. I cant recommend them highly enough. I look forward to many years of quiet trouble free heat, especially with their excellent warranty.

During the quote and installation everyone was very friendly and responsive, Unfortunately a couple of months later, the story changed. While this is not a negative complaint about the work that was done, it is a complaint, and thereby a reflection, on the lack of professionalism and trustworthiness of this company. I asked and was told 3 times that Cooper would handle all of the paperwork for the offered rebates. The last of those three times was as the crew was walking out of my house. I was assured, it would all be taken care of. Not true. After a couple of months I contacted the company to ask why I hadn't received 2 of the 3 rebates promised. It was explained to me that one of the rebates wouldn't be distributed until after I renewed my membership with Costco (which will not be for @ 7-8 months after I paid for the system.) That was never mentioned during the quote or installation. Next, the person I talked to told me she didn't know anything about the utility rebate but that she would have my salesman call me right away. Never happened. In the following month I emailed the company twice never getting a response. I finally reached out to Costco to ask for help in resolving the issue. A couple of days later I get an email from Cooper telling me to call them. Really? After the time I had waited and the effort I had put into resolving this matter they couldn't even pick up the phone to call me?  I did not call Cooper back at that point I had expended enough time and energy and was willing to wait for Costco to intervene. (Costco has been playing phone tag with me offering to help find a resolution, hopefully we will connect soon.) In the meantime, my salesman finally called  me today and left a message telling me that I need to submit the paperwork for the utility rebate.   Please understand that this is not a huge sum of money I have been missing. (less than $500) but it's the principle of the matter; the lack of follow up and taking care of the customer beyond payment and installation. To be honest, I regret using Cooper . I had worked with an excellent company for years with my old furnace. Rocky Mountain Climate and Heating had always taken care of me, always responded VERY quickly when there was an issue- even on weekends. I regret not choosing the company that had proven themselves  over and over again. I regret not choosing the company that had earned my trust. I chose Cooper because of Costco. I Even though their bid was higher than other a couple of the other companies, the rebates brought the price down to a competitive level and how can you beat a Costco guarantee? My greatest fear now, is what can I expect if something stops working?  For instance  the new AC isn't cooling the upstairs of my house as much as I would like but I haven't called because of the frustration in trying to get a response to something simple.  Given my experience with Cooper in the little matters I can't help but wonder if summer will be over before they would  respond to a request for help.

AWESOME!!!!!!  Warranties, guarantees and Costco "two years to decide" policy made this the best deal of all.  These guys were personable, caring, helpful and professional.  It doesn't get any better than these guys!  They made our previous heating/cooling company look like amateurs.  Would NOT hesitate to recommend them to others!  We were sorry to see them go.. it was like family leaving us.

First, we researched the top brands of AC units and were looking at Lennox systems along with Trane and Carrier.  We finally decide that we would look at the entire package for a selection.  We finally decided to start with Costco and they use Cooper for all heating and AC installs.  We went to COSTCO and set up an appointment for an estimate.  Jordan came to the house and did a thorough inspection complete with a review of windows and doors plus a measurement of the space to determine the size of the unit we would need. I have a friend who formerly worked doing AC installs and he indicated we would need a 3.5-4 ton unit.  Jordan recommended the same so I was comfortable immediately with his analysis. After that, he sat down and went over the review.  He made note of some issues that he may help with on the furnace during install.  He then gave us 4 estimates, 2 for AC's and 2 for Heat pumps which I requested.  He quoted a price and then we took the weekend and two more days to research and obtain two other estimates.  Cooper was extremely competitive but when looking at the warranty extension AND 5 years of annual services (Which have averaged $90 a year for the past 10 years) on BOTH heating and AC (they did not install any heating, it is the furnace we have had for 10 years), the deal was irresistible.  So, we spoke on Tuesday to confirm pricing and setup an appointment, met on Thursday to sign papers and they installed on Friday. 
Now, as for install, the two incredibly professional and polite installers (Martin and Dan) showed up on time (and called to let us know they were on the way).  They walked us through the install procedure and explained what every step they were doing.  They showed us how the system worked and programmed our new thermostat (Part of the package).  The system kicked on and it was just as we wanted.  They then cleaned up every area including wiping the floors after vacuuming, cleaned up all parts and screws outside and left the area as it was when they arrived.  Talk about outstanding high quality service, these guys set set the standard high and live by it!  I have never had a more professional installation of any service than what these two gentleman gave us.
Two days later, we discovered the fan on the furnace continued to run even when the AC was not on.  We called Cooper  that afternoon and they wanted to send someone out that day.  However, we asked for a scheduled visit on the next Monday and sure enough, 9:00 AM came and the area supervisor Joshua showed up at the door, and immediately diagnosed the problem, obtained a part and fixed the system.  When we pulled out the check book, we got "No charge, its under the warranty".  It turns out that our furnace was an older model and after a day or so, it stopped recognizing the AC as a second unit and continued to run the fan.  This was something that was not anticipated nor expected and was not due to any install issue whatsoever.  It just was one of those things.  The point here is that Cooper stands by their warranty and service-- and demonstrated their dedication by coming right out and, we deeply appreciate their focus on the customer.
So, if you are looking for high quality equipment, installation and service, look no more, Cooper Heating and Cooling is the only way to go.
