Comfort By Design

I cannot explain how amazing this company is. The OWNER came out to my house at 3 am for an emergency call to help rescue a family pet. My cat got stuck in the ventilation system and he not only helped come up with a plan to get her out but executed it with precision in a timely manner. He called in backup and a second employee was there in a jiffee with the tools to complete this job. We were able to locate her and safely get her out and back to freedom and treats! I again cannot thank the staff and Owners of this amazing business enough for what they did for me and my family today!

Had them move some ductwork and install a new bathroom exhaust run. Spent the time needed for us to agree on the work and he gave me an estimate on the spot. They got the work done the next day and I am satisfied, and inspection passed without issue!

My entire experience with Comfort By Design was great. Samantha, from the office staff, was pleasant and efficient in setting up my appointment for an estimate with Scott Byrant, president / co-owner, who acted as my sales representative. Scott was very personable and easy to work with. He provided me with the information that I required in order to make a decision and offered me an excellent price on a top end unit. The removal and installation work began the very next day with Jeremy and Danielle arriving on site early in the morning. They were both hardworking, task-oriented, and respectful of my home. Jeremy kept me informed of their progress throughout the day. Jeremy ended up working until after 9 PM that night and was back at it the next morning at 7:30 to complete the installation and conduct the checkout of the unit with me. He cleaned up the area and was gone by. 10:30 AM. I could not be more pleased with my overall experience with Design By Comfort. Thank you for all the effort and hard work. I really appreciate it.

These guys are great! Scott, one of the co-owners was the one that came to our home to do the quote on a new AC. It was far less than the other quotes I got. They were able to schedule the install the next day. Keep in mind it is April and not July. Install tech David was on time and assisted by the other co-owner John. It was a fast and easy experience to get an AC unit installed.

From the consultation/estimate to a fast scheduling, and install, the experience was painless. Great customer service, technical expertise and professionalism. Highly recommend and will use Comfort by Design again.

The Technician was quick and on time. He did a great job. He also checked my upstairs heater as well. We would use him again.

Needed a gas line run to convert my electric stove to a gas stove. I also wanted a humidifier installed. I shopped multiple options for both and Comfort was very price competitive. They were very responsive and professional throughout the process, were on time for every visit, and kept me informed throughout. Definitely recommend.

David was the plumber who installed my new water heater. He was friendly and very knowledgeable, answering my questions and keeping me informed on what he was doing. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need and he cleaned up after himself! The office staff was quite helpful, contacting me very quickly after I submitted my request and e-mailing a quote, the only company to do that. This is a professional company who I will look to in the future for all my plumbing needs.

We were very happy with this company. They were very quick with their response to my phone calls and to get me an estimate and put on the schedule. They did a great job with the install and called ahead to let me know when they were going to arrive also their price was fair.

Comfort by Design did a fantastic job with my water heater from start to finish. When I called, the receptionist was highly knowledgeable about scheduling and pricing, and she was quite willing to let me call other places since I was researching price and availability. I ended up sticking with Comfort by Design largely because the receptionist was not pushy, listened well to me, and had technicians available that day. I like hiring companies with whose employees listen to me and work with me to solve a problem, as opposed to pressuring me to choose them or to buy more than I'm comfortable with. My initial interaction with Comfort by Design met those criteria. A technician arrived within the time-frame I was quoted, and he had the part I thought was broken on my water heater. After diagnosing the issue, though, he discovered that there was at least one other broken/malfunctioning part that needed to be replaced. He showed me the problem and explained the process of replacing it. After discussing my options with the technician, I decided to replace the water heater. At no point did I feel pressured into making that decision. The best surprise of the day was that Comfort by Design was able to replace the water heater immediately. Another technician was available to immediately bring the water heater, and the two techs worked together to install the new one and remove the old one. They also carted the old one away. Before leaving, they patiently answered several other questions I had, and they explained and scheduled the necessary inspection of their installation. They did a great job respecting my property while moving the large water heaters, and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Finally, the cost was reasonable and about what I expected to pay. Custom by Design is definitely going to be the first place I call should I have any plumbing or HVAC (they also do HVAC!) needs in the future.

Comfort by Design came out to handle some laundry room plumbing work in an investment property we own, as well as look into some HVAC (radiant heat) concerns. We ultimately decided to go with them for their professionalism and responsiveness. It is a sad world where many professional contractors struggle to show up on time, return emails or phone calls, and can't stay in the quoted estimate. Comfort by Design definitely checked all those boxes and more! Very easy to work with and communicate with, friendly, trust-worthy and professional service that didn't seem to rush through to get done and move on to other work (been there before!). Always on time and quality of work was great. Would definitely recommend for plumbing and HVAC services for sure, we will continue working with them in the future

From the first phone call to the personal interaction with Scott Bryant (President), until the installers drove away, service was exemplary, professional, courteous, deeply knowledgeable, with an awesome price! I would highly recommend Comfort by Design and will retain them for all my HVAC service needs. I especially am impressed when a problem arose (through no fault of their own) after installation and was taken care of promptly when a Technician came out on New Year’s Day! - did not have to but did! Awesome!!

Excellent. Scott came over and explained the options he could provide, and the costs for each. He was incredibly helpful and we felt no pressure to choose a particular solution. Once we decided scheduling was easy and they did a quick, quality job. Even the mechanical inspector commented on how clean and well done the work was. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to a friend.

Exceptionally well. All phases of this job, which was to replace a 64 y/o furnace, and replace it with a new one was handled by Scott Bryant and his team in a timely and professional manner. The install crew ( Nate & John ) had the experience and knowledge to tackle this challenging job and make it look easy. I was super-impressed with the results of both the furnace and hot water heater finished-product, Well Done !

The mechanic checked and cleaned the furnace, but did not notice a gas leak that could have been deadly for our family if we had not gotten a second opinion.

Comfort By Design replaced the flex ductwork throughout my home and relocated one register and the return air vent. It was definitely not an easy job as they has to work within a tight crawl space. Mike and Dustin started right at 9 AM and had the work done by 4:30 PM. They were friendly, explained the work as they went along, checked to make sure I was happy with everything, and cleaned up after they were done. Their prices are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

This company and Michael the home technician were exceptional. Very responsive and extremely diligent in searching out all the multiple issues that caused the furnace to not work. Replaced numerous parts in 2007 system. Returned three times as additional issues were uncovered. Very responsive and extremely conscientious and professional. Price was very reasonable. Definitely hire this comnpany. You won't be sorry and will be very glad you did. I will definitely call them again should the need arise.

They were okay, he didnt wear a mask or boot covers which it was snowing outside and I have white carpet. Once he got started on my annual checkup and went downstairs he was only down there for about 30 minutes . When he came back upstairs I asked if he had changed my filter which he replied pointing at my wall that he did not and it was upstairs. He never asked if I'd like him to change it or offered to change the filter which I thought was normal for a service call. I wouldnt use them again.

This company has customer service down pat!! I was so impressed with each person I encountered at this company. They treated me very well and respectful. The job was great and I'm glad we chose them to install the A/C

Comfort by Design technician arrived right on time. I really appreciated the communication up to and including the morning of the install. The technician was very polite and respectful of our home with regard to protecting floors with drop cloths. The installation was very professional, technician explained the operation of the new equipment. We received a follow up phone call to inform us when the inspections would be done. Regional Building Department inspections passed first time no problems. I highly recommend Comfort by Design.

Reasonably priced, Scott was responsive to questions and prompt in communication. No big sales pitch or glossy flyers. Just good basic info. Sammy was our install guy. His team worked hard until all was completed and thoroughly cleaned up. Finished by explaining everything that was done and setting up inspection at our convenience. The AC is running like a dream! Happy! Would recommend!

We were notified by text and e mail of our appointment, who was coming over. The unit was inspected and was given the option to repair or replace. We elected repair, the tech arrived on time, very pleasant to talk with, and the work was completed in a couple of hours. We will recommend Comfort by Design to all our friends and neighbors.
