I couldn't be happier with the way the patio / courtyard turned out. Everything was done to specifications, as discussed.

The bid was a little higher than a competitors, but I preferred their design of a thick road base with rebar reinforcement in the concrete. The crew showed up on time in the morning of the first day and completely finished after a long second day. The driveway was then left to harden for 3 days, shortly afterwards they came back and restored the landscape.
I am extremely pleased with the final product and have no regrets in selecting Colorado Flatworks.

Our experience with Colorado Flatwork Inc was a very good one. They were always punctual, had a reasonable estimate, and the quality of their work was very good. We were especially impressed with the foreman named Jose. When the crew was taking out the old driveway, they encountered a structural problem which Jose OKed with his boss and quickly remedied at no additional charge.

Everything turned out really great! I did a little research and decided on them. The people were professional and cleaned everything up. They stamped the concrete and then stained it to look like stone - It looks great. I just think they did a really good job. In fact I plan on using them again in the spring.

Workers were ok, Not a real issue but one guy had a habit of wondering around my property during breaks. I mentioned this to him, after that they took breaks in their trucks.

Arrived at 0800 on Monday morning. Tore out old concrete, removed it from the existing driveway. Tamped the dirt and leveled it. Put up the forms for the new concrete. Next day came, poured the new concrete and completely finished by hand the surface of driveway/ sidewalk. This team worked the entire time!!! They were very efficient and worked hard.
A project leader came each day.
We are very pleased with the new driveway and the sidewalk. The driveway actually beads up water when wet. We would gladly use this company again and give them an A+ rating!

The work was done quickly, ahead of schedule. When they found that they had to take out a portion of asphalt on the street in front of the driveway that they didn't anticipate replacing, they charged us less than that actual work cost since it wasn't in the original quote. Easy to work with and did a quality job.

Overall they did an amazing job. They started on time, finished alot of the demolition and prep on the first day. They finished the driveway by Friday. My only issue is that no one told me how long to let it cure, how long untl I cold drive on it or any of the behind the deal details. I had to call the company several times to get these answers. But, again on the good side, they had a guy come out and hand set the rocks along the driveway so it looked good. But only on one side of the driveway. Another good point for them was their speed in completing the work on the driveway. But, it took almost a week to get the potholes filled and finished. Also, when I paid them by check it took 4 days for them to deposit the check. Maybe not the biggest deal but it is to me...

Overall, I would use this company again. the finished product is great. In general they were fast and professional. I would have loved some more details but I guess I should just be happy with a fine job.

My experience with them was excellent. They gave me the most comprehensive estimate. They did an excellent job. I haven't had any issues with the work. I have had some good compliments made on them.

We were converting an old flower bed adjoining the driveway into an widening of the driveway. A big maple tree with invasive root system had broken the sprinkler system and made gardening impossible, so we removed it. We could use the extra drive space for a third vehicle. This project involved removing a big tree stump in order to dig down to the right level and prepare the forms. The stump alone took several hours with a Bobcat and a couple men, as it was a very stubborn stump. At times the Bobcat was lifted off the ground as it tried to pry on the large roots. They also removed a short section of sidewalk that had sunk, and replaced it as part of the new driveway. They did all the prep work, including removing the tree trunk, roots, and debris, poured the drive, and cleaned up in one day. When it threatened to rain, they sprayed the concrete with curing agent to help speed things up, and covered it with plastic until the rain passed. They were a few hundred dollars higher than the lowest bid, and way below the highest. And I didn't have to wait weeks to fit me into their schedule. All in all, a very professional outfit, and I would use them again.

They started ahead of schedule but called and let us know they were coming. There were two different crews, one that did the demolition and construction and another that did the concrete pouring and finish work. All the guys worked hard - like dogs - and they knew what they were doing. Always a team effort with guys helping each other where required, always in good spirits, always professional and always polite. The supervisor stopped by often and helped out too, answered all our questions and kept asking us if we were satisfied with the work. The results were terrific. The supervisor came back out the following Monday and took down the tape barriers and the last of the forms still remaining and did some final clean up. Great looking work. No big mess left behind. Very professional work. I'd recommend this company to anyone who needs concrete work done.

I'm really pleased with the results. They came to my house with ten guy crew on monday and finished wens night. They were very professional and did exactly what the contract stated. They weren't the lowest bid, what sold me was they had there own crew on payroll, some of the other bidders used day labor. Highly recommended.

We decided to get rid of the pea gravel between the sidewalk and the street and all of the way down the driveway going to the back yard. While we were pouring concrete for those areas, decided to replace the driveway too. They pulled all of the permits and thankfully poured the concrete when we were out of country so didn't inconvenience us at all. Worked with our schedule. The concrete looks great. They did a wonderful job. Had to block off one lane of our busy street for a few hours while they did the front boulevard but they worked quickly and it went well. Would definitely use them again if we were pouring concrete.

Colorado Flatworks completed the job in 2 days approximately one week after being awarded the job. Their price was very reasonable based on other bids received and the quality of their work was excellent. The project supervisor suggested improvements to the layout of the driveway that resulted in a much better driveway than we had before. They were professional and very careful to clean everything up. Would defineitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They poured the concrete when it was too cold and the concrete froze. Two years after they poured the concrete, it came off. They did a poor job. They were uncooperative trying to fix it. I called them and they came and gave me an estimate. They said that it had one year warranty. However, they couldn't do anything. They knew that it was going bad, but they had some contract with the original owner who sold the house to me in a year. They said that it was a different owner and their guarantee was for only one year and it was over. They were over priced.

Excellent quality concrete and a first rate job. Found some contractors willing to do it for 20% less, but you get what you pay for. The only complaint that I have which would be a major ding on a higher end home is that the expansion seam is not in a straight line with the seam in the garage. Either the pad is not perfectly square or the divider was jarred. Lesson learned is that you should give the contractor a temp code for the garage and insist that he check the lineup, or better yet, take a day off and micromanage for an hour.

They provided a quote for the work withih two days. They worked with me on schedule and performed the work at the time I requested. They had plenty of workers which allowed them to "get in and get out" in a timely manner. The quality and speed of work was excellent. The price was fair. The only complaint I have is that they left some unused concrete in the yard that later hardened and I had to dispose of - but it was only about a 5 gallon bucket's worth

They had excellent service at a great price. They did fast work and were very efficient. They just did great work all around. I would definitely recommend them to others.

John was very helpful, and gave me unsolicited advice in advance regarding getting water to the garden section after the new concrete would be poured. All of the workmen were very careful, courteous, and pleasant. They often commented that they wanted it to be just the way I wanted it. They did a great job, and left the area all around the patio and house well cleaned when they were done. At my request the job was initiated and completed quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Colorado Springs area who needs concrete. I was told by others that this company was the best in town. I believe it!
