Years ago, the owner, Malia, assisted me with furnishing window treatments for the Colorado Springs home that we were moving into (from another state). I found her company online, and did not personally know her. Our communication was all long distance. I was given very fair pricing, quality products, excellent service, fantastic color coordination, precise measurement and installation of the shades, and continued excellence in customer service. When I walked into my home, and saw the window treatments for the first time, I was so thankful to have found an honest company owner, whose word is gold! I did not make a purchase with Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades and Shutters. But I needed a person to repair a Norman shutter. Brian, the installer, came out to assess the shutter. It was determined that the shutter needed to be replaced. Malia worked with the Norman Shutter company and it was determined the shutter was still under the warranty. She did not charge me for any of her time. My only charge was to Brian for the trip/installation. I would highly recommend Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades and Shutters. I only wish I had more windows to install additional window treatments.

Perfect service ! Malia is amazing, very professional, the product work great and is very elegant. We needed with one of our blinds and they quickly replaced it. I highly recommend.

Our new home had 26 windows and a sliding glass door, so that was a lot of coverings! Malia pointed us to the most practical honeycomb cordless shades with top down and bottom up openings where it made sense and she never tried to upsell us. We have loved them over the last few years. More recently, we got some beautiful shutters [shown in pictures] that can tilt in different sections and has an arch. Their installer is highly skilled and professional. My experience with Colorado Custom Blinds on multiple occasions was top notch!

I needed new blinds and shades in three rooms of my home and I found Malia as I was browsing through websites. I called her and she came out in just a few days and gave me ideas for blinds in two of the rooms as well as shades in a great room. The quote came in within hours of her leaving my home. Additionally, I had some sun discolored/warped Hunter Douglas Shutters that I had no luck getting replaced by other companies, and Malia cheerfully said "Let me try". Within a day, Malia was back with me and Hunter Douglas was willing to replace the damaged shutters under warranty. What service Malia was able to get for me! Products were ordered and goods received in a timely fashion. Brian, came out on three occasions to install my shutters, blinds and shades, as we had to work around window installation. He was prompt each time, took pride in his work and did not rush through the installation. He explained in detail how each item worked, how to care for it and even helped us set up the remote blue tooth for our shades. I love the fact that Malia and team are a small independent company and take pride in customer service and offer excellent products. I would use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of window coverings.

REPEAT Customer!â ¦ In 2017 after having multiple companies come to provide options and get quotes, we decided to use CO Custom Blinds. The whole experience was phenomenalâ ¦ price, product selection, quick (timing) turn-around between ordering and installation, and finally, the extremely flawless installation. Since we had such a great experience the 1st time, when we needed additional window coverings, it was a â no brainerâ â ¦ we went straight to Malia/CO Custom Blinds and again I was not disappointed! As great as the first experience was, this 2023 ordering/installation seemed even easier (Most likely due to the â at easeâ feeling I had from my prior experience). Amazing service! Malia listened to our needs, showed us her selection, measured, and ordered our blinds right away. Jeff installed all our windows, something like 18 windows, in an hour and a half. They fit perfectly. No extra slats, or strings, no sagging. They look amazing!

I bought the original shutters from another company and will not use them again or recommend them. Malia was awesome in ensuring that the window arch shutter matched the slat size and color of the original shutters. Jeff installed and did an amazing job.

Beautiful blinds!!!! Great Customer Service. Fast Responses. They came to my house and measured my windows and brought blind samples with them with pricing. Many different options to chose from. I went with the affordable options and my blinds are gorgeous. I have also used them for my office so I am A repeat client.

We moved into a new build 2 years ago and called Co Custom Blinds for shades and shutters. Malia came and measured windows several weeks before our closing. We closed at 10 a.m. and at 1:00 the installers were here! They had all window treatments up in a matter of hours! All fit perfectly. Now we are finishing our basement and called Malia again. The blinds were here in about 2 weeks. The installers are prompt, polite, clean, and respectful of our home. Iâ  m so glad we found Co Custom Blinds!

In June of 2017, we bought a new home in Peyton, CO. We had 31 windows to cover. We were referred to Malia Alstrom Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades & Shutters 5325 Aubrey Way Colorado Springs, CO 80919 719-313-3141 That turned out to be the best referral we’ve gotten in the 50 years we have moved around the United States and various countries. We’ve never dealt with a more professional, cooperative, and efficient company. I, especially, appreciated the product knowledge and advice I received in covering all the windows and, particularly, as concerned the several problematic areas. For instance, there is a small window in one of the bathrooms. Malia suggested I not cover it as it really wasn’t necessary. I hesitated but that turned out to be a really good decision. Malia, never tried to talk me into more expensive options. Rather, she pointed out where to use our money to its best advantage and where to put less expensive options. I have not regretted a single choice. Fast forward 4 years and we noticed a couple of minor issues with 2 of the blinds. I emailed Malia to ask her if she could suggest someone who could do the repairs. Amazingly, she was out here in short order, took the blinds and liners (on rather large windows), mailed them to Hunter Douglas, had them repaired and we received them via FedEx to our home. My husband was able to rehang the blinds. Malia had the name of an installer, if we needed him. I was fully expecting to pay for this but she told me there was no charge! The installation went perfectly and the shades developed a problem of draining batteries faster than could be imagined. Malia stood behind them and eventually convinced the supplier to issue new shades. She then installed them at no additional cost and they have worked perfectly since. I am not sure that they have a rating system high enough for our experience working with her.

I have used this company for two project, my Buisnes & my home. Malia is wonderful so helpful & efficient. The installation was beautiful. I think the blinds are great and a good value for the price we paid..
