I first selected CCBS&S based on top reviews and found the price point below competitors. I am grateful to have selected CCBS&S because when things run afoul, you will want Malia fighting for you. She went extrodinarily above and beyond to resolve a manufacturing issue and did not stop until both she & I were satisfied. Malia proved to be a strong advocate for me as the client and I cannot overstate my appreciation for how she managed the situation. In addition, overall communication was great at every step. And lastly her installer, Brian, was personable and efficient. If ever I am in the market again, I will return to CCBS&S without question.

We moved into a new house last year and were looking to replace the blinds. Malia did a great job of helping us choose the right style and color for the windows, including blackout shades where needed. She also pointed us toward top-down / bottom-up shades to help us enjoy our view of the mountains. We are very pleased with our new shades and highly recommend Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades & Shutters. UPDATE: Recently we had the sliding glass door in the living room replaced with a French Door and Window. Fortunately, we were able to reuse the Hunter Douglas Applause Vertiglide shade originally installed for the sliding glass door. However, the shade needed to be moved farther away from the wall to accommodate the door handle hardware leaving a gap between the shade’s valance and the wall. We contacted Malia and within a few days we had new valence returns for our Vertiglide shade. Amazing response and continued satisfaction with our choice of Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades & Shutters.

We love our Colorado Custom Blinds. We do not have air conditioning in our home and the "black-out" blinds help make the room cooler when we need to close them on warmer days. In addition, they are great at blocking out the bright sun for my "night working / day sleeping" family members. And, they look great in our rooms - we have both light filtering and black-out in different rooms. The two times we had some challenges with the blinds, Malia made sure the issues were solved quickly and efficiently. She was great at servicing our needs and I would definitely use Colorado Custom Blinds again.

"Honeycomb shades are the most insulating shades available. They keep the heat out in the summer and the cold out in the winter. I did not make a purchase with Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades and Shutters. But I needed a person to repair a Norman shutter. Brian, the installer, came out to assess the shutter. It was determined that the shutter needed to be replaced. Malia worked with the Norman Shutter company and it was determined the shutter was still under the warranty. She did not charge me for any of her time. My only charge was to Brian for the trip/installation. I would highly recommend Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades and Shutters. I only wish I had more windows to install additional window treatments.

I love my new blinds! Working with Malia at Colorado Custom Blinds made changing my window coverings easy and stress-free. I am not a natural decorator and easily get overwhelmed with the infinite number of choices. Malia was so knowledgeable and helpful in narrowing down the look and functionality that I needed. She took great care to show me a few options that would work in my rooms. For instance, I have a large three-panel sliding glass door. I kept putting off getting anything to cover it because I had no idea what would work. She suggested three large roller shades using the latest remote-controlled technology. They are perfect! My furniture and piano are now saved from the intense Colorado sun! Also, Malia was very communicative about keeping me up-to-date while the blinds were being ordered and made. And, Brian, the installer was professional and helpful, especially when explaining the app that controls the blinds. I highly recommend Colorado Custom Blinds!

Our new home had 26 windows and a sliding glass door, so that was a lot of coverings! Malia pointed us to the most practical honeycomb cordless shades with top down and bottom up openings where it made sense and she never tried to upsell us. We have loved them over the last few years. More recently, we got some beautiful shutters [shown in pictures] that can tilt in different sections and has an arch. Their installer is highly skilled and professional. My experience with Colorado Custom Blinds on multiple occasions was top notch!

Honeycombs give the most bang for your buck. They're insulating, sound-absorbing, have the ability to open from the top down or bottom up and are a great price point. I needed new blinds and shades in three rooms of my home and I found Malia as I was browsing through websites. I called her and she came out in just a few days and gave me ideas for blinds in two of the rooms as well as shades in a great room. The quote came in within hours of her leaving my home. Additionally, I had some sun discolored/warped Hunter Douglas Shutters that I had no luck getting replaced by other companies, and Malia cheerfully said "Let me try". Within a day, Malia was back with me and Hunter Douglas was willing to replace the damaged shutters under warranty. What service Malia was able to get for me! Products were ordered and goods received in a timely fashion. Brian, came out on three occasions to install my shutters, blinds and shades, as we had to work around window installation. He was prompt each time, took pride in his work and did not rush through the installation. He explained in detail how each item worked, how to care for it and even helped us set up the remote blue tooth for our shades. I love the fact that Malia and team are a small independent company and take pride in customer service and offer excellent products. I would use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of window coverings.

REPEAT Customer!… In 2017 after having multiple companies come to provide options and get quotes, we decided to use CO Custom Blinds. The whole experience was phenomenal… price, product selection, quick (timing) turn-around between ordering and installation, and finally, the extremely flawless installation. Since we had such a great experience the 1st time, when we needed additional window coverings, it was a “no brainer”… we went straight to Malia/CO Custom Blinds and again I was not disappointed! As great as the first experience was, this 2023 ordering/installation seemed even easier (Most likely due to the ”at ease” feeling I had from my prior experience). I would highly recommend this company….over and over again!
