Rachel Robnett, the owner got right back to me after I contacted her and came over within a few days to give a bid. I liked her right away. She and her staff were wonderful to have at my house. They came when they said and did a great job. Rachel was on site a good bit of the time. They were super nice and very professional. What a relief that it is done and I did not have to do it.

Colorado Chroma recently painted the inside of my home, walls, ceilings, and trim, and I am thrilled with the results. This was a difficult job in that we used multiple custom colors throughout the house and did number of accents and accent walls. Rachel worked closely with me to make sure we had all the right colors picked out and it was clearly important to her and the rest of the crew that I was happy with the results in every room. All of the painters were so friendly, I enjoyed seeing them every day. The crew took their time to correctly prep all of the surfaces before painting and they always made a point of thoroughly cleaning at the end of each day.

There is even a carpenter on the crew who was able to install my new closet doors, and repair some other doors that had been causing problems for years. The finished product is exactly what I was hoping for. All of the cut lines are extremely straight, even where we did color changes between rooms on my bull nose corners.

We solicited bids from multiple painters to paint the interior of our house from top to bottom ... walls, trim, ceilings, inside of closets, everything. One of the painters who we contacted recommended Rachel Robnett at Colorado Chroma as a painter who and quot;pays attention to detailand quot;. What a great recommendation this turned out to be!
We asked for and Rachel provided advice on colors, finishes and painting options that had worked well for her in the past. Our resulting color choices are far better than the ones we had initially considered.
The painters did a very thorough and detailed surface preparation prior to painting. They repaired and patched screw and nail holes, removed drywall anchors and patched the holes, and caulked gaps in the trim. We had several cracks in the drywall which Rachel repaired by digging out the crack then taping and texturing to match the surrounding ceiling. In several other locations the previous owners had attempted drywall repairs, and Rachel fixed these. The biggest job involved removing a wall of painted over paneling, replacing it with sheetrock, then texturing the wall to match the rest of the living room.
The painting reflects the same care and attention. There are no paint splatters anywhere. The edges are straight. The flat surfaces are uniform and show no brush strokes. The old colors are covered completely.
All this, and she gave the lowest bid, also. Could we have asked for more?
