The tech, Jesse, was prompt, knowledgable, polite, and professional. Great guy. We'd called for a cleaning but he wouldn't do it because the chimney's old and unlined. We were OK with that. He recommended we put a cap on it and not use it. We were good with that. He gave us a nine-page report, explained it to us, and charged us $99.95. All good. He made a mistake on the report on a key dimension. I had the chimney cap fabricated and it didn't fit. I called the office and that's where things got bad. The woman there was immediately hostile and didn't want to hear it when I suggested they'd made a mistake on their report that led to an unusable chimney cap. She said, not withstanding the mistake, I should have climbed up on the roof and measured the chimney myself. She shouted at me "It's not gonna happen" when I asked her to pay for a new cap. She was rude. She talked down to me. She would not continue the conversation and hung up. I feel mugged. I wonder what, if not accuracy, gives value to a 9-page report that cost $99.95. I liked the tech. But the company policy and attitude needs a lot of work. They're short-sighted. I complained to the property manager that recommended them and suggested she not use them again.

From scheduling to service this is a top notch company. I was very impressed with how both of my gas fireplaces were cleaned and given a fresh new look. Chimney on top of roof was inspected and some minor cracks and potential leaks were found. I appreciate finding out about these minor problems early on so the repairs can be made before a costly problem develops.

They did a good job with the cleaning but the guy who came out was a little unprofessional. I don't think there was an issue on their punctuality. There was a really bad weather last year. The price seemed a little high for the amount of time he was here.

I called Clean Sweep Chimney Sweep on Monday and they were able to perform the cleaning on Wednesday. They set the appointment for 2:00pm and showed up right on time. The technician was professional and quick. After the work was complete he explained original condition of the chimney and the work he performed. The whole process took less than 30 minutes and the fireplace is ready to provide warmth and joy again to my family for at least another year. I will use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

Clean Sweep has services our gas fireplaces every year, for 10 years. As a Realtor I understand the value of having all home "components" routinely cleaned and serviced to ensure longevity and safety. The work done by Clean Sweep has always exceeded my expectations and my 3 gas fireplaces look brand new. The glass shines and has no burn buildup and the cleaned and replaced logs and embers add a wonderful, naturalistic glow to our home. Highly recommended!

I submitted an online inquiry for fireplace cleaning. I received a prompt email response indicating general price points and an offer to call for more detailed quotes. I scheduled an appointment based on this information. The woman I worked with was extremely friendly and professional and was able to get me in quickly. She also provided me with several good outlets for purchasing wood and explained what would happen during my service call.
The day of the appointment, Stephen called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived promptly, set up quickly and cleanly, performed the cleaning thoroughly and efficiently while also taking time to answer my questions and explain their procedures.

I just purchased my condo in May and had no idea to what degree the fireplace had been used and if it even needed to be cleaned. Ehron from Clean Sweep came out, laid out a cloth to protect my carpet, inspected the fireplace both from inside and the roof. After checking it out he told me that it was not in need of cleaning! He told me it was in good condition and gave me several tips on how to care for my fireplace. I was only charged for the inspection. I highly recommend Clean Sweep. They are professional, honest , courteous and truly interested in what they do and the customers they serve.

They did a great job! One guy got up on the roof and did the cleaning from above. The other guy used a brush to scrub down the inside of the fireplace, and then actually got into the fireplace box and scrubbed it some more. They first put down a sheet to protect my carpet and also thoroughly vacuumed inside and around the fireplace before they left. They also checked the basement fireplace to see if it needed cleaning, but it didn't. They answered all the questions I had. I like that the company is run by a retired fireman and his sons. I would hire them again.

For over a month I contacted this business, emailed pictures of my fireplace and requested a return call for an estimate to convert propane back to gas, and what was their availability. I called three times, promised calls that were never returned. Today I called again and told him I was not getting any response and I was starting to believe they didn't want my business, the man stated the were "busy" I told him to forget it, Ill go someplace else. WOW how do they get any business with such poor customer services.

There is a reason these guys are on Craigslist. First off they were the only ones that were able to clean our chimney with in a month of calling. Ehron shows up, lays down some blankets to keep things from getting messing and got immediately to work. This guy was extremely courteous, respectful, and just plain awesome. Only took him about 45 minutes to clean our chimney. Afterwards he was berated with a ton of questions on how to operate, what type of wood, how to start a fire and keep it clean, etc. Answered all questions and gave incite on how to operate our chimney correctly. I would highly recommend Clean Sweep! And Ehron, a genious on chimneys.

It was very quick and very clean. I just left the guy alone in my living room with the fireplace and he took care of everything in around an hour - think it was a little more than that. Not a speck of dust left behind outside the fireplace. The agent (Ehron) was very friendly and professional. I plan to use Clean Sweep again.

Two guys showed up on time; they did a good job explaining the in and outs of the fireplace that I had, showed I had no soot and did a good job of cleaning up the fireplace. Only criticism is that they should have ensured that everything was working before they left. Since they took out the fireplace/insert and I had a blower - when they left , I tried the blower and it didn't work but figured out I didn't push the button right. But in the event that it was broken with them moving the insert out, would have been a good idea to make sure everything was working and back to the way it was before they left so I wouldn't have had to call them back. Luckily that wasn't the case, but more followup on completion of job would be good.
