"Mr. [Member Name Removed], I received your e-mail at my office already and have responded. To review what I know at this point: You called our office on Thu May 11, 2023 to report a leak at your building. We sent a technician out on Fri May 12, 2023. He could not determine the source of the leak at that time. You called late that same day to get a status and was told the estimator would call you back, which he failed to do. We did not call you back, nor did we hear from you, for the next 4 working days. We received your next call on the morning of May 19, 2023, extremely upset that nobody returned your call to let you know the next step. I apologize that no one informed you what was happening. We had a work order to go out and determine what the problem was with this latest rain. We sent a technician out, but he couldn't find the location of problem, and he put it on our list to follow up. This update and information should have been conveyed to you so you understood the delay. However, to be clear, the roof on your building is 26 years old, was not installed by Cheyenne Mountain Roofing, and is not under warranty with our company. We have completed a few repairs for you over the last three years, including sealing wall joints in the twin T concrete wall panels, sealing duct work for HVAC units, and performing some EPDM roof repairs on this building, as well as repairs on your personal residence. I apologize for the lack of communication; we should have done better to explain what our latest process was. I understand how stressful and frustrating it is when roof and wall panel leaks are occurring. We took more than 10 times our normal call volume during this period of extreme rain. This is not an excuse, but it is why your follow-up slipped through the cracks of our normal process. I understand that you are upset and know that we can't turn back the clock to inform you of what our plan was to find and correct the leaks. We have only done 3 repairs for you. You roof is not and has never been under warranty with Cheyenne Mountain"
Cheyenne Mountain Roofing was exceptional from my first interaction with them. The company was recommended by my insurance agent and from my first interaction with them, I had a feeling of trust. They were incredibly responsive and even went as far as to expedite my job so that I could close on a home sale. Great company with an excellent staff and they did fantastic work.
The job itself went very well. The crew showed up first thing in the morning. They were very neat and organized. The job went into half of a second day (it was a massive job, so no surprise). They cleaned up at the end of each day. They hauled away all of the old shingles and skylights and cleaned up all the nails and other miscellaneous debris. They were very polite and professional.
We were referred to this company and were happy to see they were Angie's list members. They came out very quickly and promptly to do the estimate, and really seemed to understand the problem. We were excited to work with them, but there was a problem getting the estimate. For some reason, even after 4 tries, we could not receive their email. Just when we were getting disappointed, we discovered they had gone out of their way and hand-delivered an estimate to our home address. This was extremely thoughtful and definitely fits the meaning of going above and beyond. We had a lot of trouble finding a roofing company that works on skylights and particularly when they are installed on flat roofs. CMR gave us a very fair estimate and didn't try to talk us into getting the entire roof replaced (like several other companies did). They were able to isolate our leak and repair it and we are completely satisfied. Also, we had a broken bubble skylight on a sloped roof that had a crack but was not leaking. We got an estimate from CMR last year but didn't get the work done. This year, they fixed the two flat roof skylights and honored our estimate from last summer and completely replaced the sloped roof skylight. This company definitely goes out of their way to provide great service and they were good to work with. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.
"We tried several times to e-mail your estimate and verified the address with you multiple time. For some reason beyond our control you did not receive the estimate via e-mail, so I had our estimator hand deliver the estimate to your house."
