Kevin and his team handled a difficult move with great professionalism. They were able to take our piano down a flight of tight stairs, land it on its side, and move it out of the house and deliver it to our daughter's family. We have used them in the past as well as they came highly recommended from the piano store.

It went very well. i called on a Friday and my daughter (70 miles away) was available only on Sundays or Mondays. Kevin came with his crew on time on Sunday (very short notice) and even though the driveway had ice on it, they were able to safely get the piano moved. They got it up to daughter's home with no problems. The cost was a bit higher because they were returning with an empty truck.

The movers showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. They took great care of the piano moving it out of my mothers house and moving it in to my house. They showed up at the appointed time with all the equipment needed The men were very professional doing a thorough inspection of piano to insure i was aware of existing flaws. They evaluated two options to move it. Had all he right equipment and it turned out to be a quick and damage-free move. Men were VERY courteous and helpful, asking questions to insure we were satisfied with the move and placement.

Our daughter's home has 16 stairs and two turns - they moved the piano quickly and efficiently. They are polite and professional. The only negative was that they only provided a broad window for delivery (3 hours) and didn't call our daughter after leaving the Springs to provide a more precise delivery time. We recommend this service and would use it again.

It was very smooth - we have 10 stairs, a landing, then 4 more stairs and they moved a very large piano with relative ease.

Went great, had a few hiccups due to weather in Colorado, but other then that they were great. Great job moving my piano, would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to others.

Checkmate did a super job. We had used them 7 years ago when we had to move the piano, and were so impressed we called them again and then referred them to our friends (who were going to have the piano moved from our house to theirs). I really appreciated that they took so much care not to damage anything, even putting runners on the floor. Our friends tell me they were very happy with the delivery on their end as well.

It went amazingly well. I was really worried about the stairs but it wasn't a problem for them. This was over eight years ago - and I don't remember any difficulties with this move. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to relocate a piano and will use them myself in the future.

I called Checkmate to schedule the move for Tues, the 23rd. I called them back on the 22nd because the weather was supposed to be bad on the 23rd and moved the date to the 24th. They had no problem with my schedule. They showed up promptly ont he 24th and moved the piano. THe move was up a flight of stairs and they had no problems. They took great care of the piano. I would definitely recommend these guys!
