They kept charging me for service after I closed the account and I called about it and got put on hold for a looooooooong time. I finally hung up. I finished fixing it by using their chat option, but was still out six dollars that I paid. The first time I called the person said the six dollars was extra, but then the second time on chat they said the six dollars was leftover billing. They did cancel an 11 dollar charge. In light of current lawsuits about excess billing, I would avoid this company.

I pay too much. It's $105 a month. We used to have answering machine. Now we have no answering machine. I supposedly pay for all these services. But I have nothing that works except the general ringing of the phone. But if you try to get anywhere, they tell you to do it yourself. It's not a very good company. If I had another option, I'd be out of there. One time I was on the phone with a technician from eight o'clock in the morning till five o'clock at night and I still didn't get it. It was unreal. They need to be more responsive to the customer and when they need service, they have to send a technician. With other kinds of services you get, when you're in trouble, like with the cable company, if they tell me to unplug this and that and the other and then in the end, it doesn't work, they say they'll send a technician. I don't think Century Link has any technicians or they won't send any.

I was on hold two different times for five or more minutes each. They argued with me and tried very hard to convince me to stay. I was not respected.

We had a line that went down and when we reached out to Century Link to repair it, it took them far too long to attend to the issue. They missed their initial appointment, which I stayed home all day in wait for them. It wasn't until a week after the appointment that they finally corrected the issue. Needless to say, in light of their service we dropped them in favor of Comcast.

Provider came and set up internet services. Orignially, there were unknown issues with landlines running into our house. Technicians came out on three seperate occassions to ensure we had proper connectivity. The first technician was unaware of the issue. The second technician was either not very proficient or did not understand the issue. The third technician was very helpful and ensured connectivity before he left. He ran all tests and even helped to set up our wireless connection with several devices. Although, this was somewhat frustratin, the third technician made sure to ease our minds and did a great job. We are very pleased and have no issues since installation.

installation was very simple, however it requires an unavoidable $50 installation fee. So far the internet service is fine, however the website in order to pay online is awful. I had numerous problems in setting up my account and had to call several times and during one of those calls the customer service who was helpful admitted that the website does have problems. Finally got it figured out after several calls several different times.

I signed up for 12mb internet and unlimited home phone service. First of all, it took 2 weeks for them to be able to come and set up the service. I have received 3 billing statements and there is always something wrong. My first bill I was overcharged by $45 and was told that there were extra fees for shipping a modem to me for $15. On my latest bill, that is due in November, I just discovered that my low price of internet for $19.95 and phone $45 now will come with an extra $20-25 in charges/fees that are mandatory. This is ridiculous! I switched to this company because I wanted lower prices and now am finding that their sales pitch isn't what it's cracked up to be. Buyer beware! I'm going to look into replacing them with another company and will ask ahead of time what their fees are. I came from Comcast where their internet and phone was much better but not their prices.

They are horrible and I do not have any option. When you have a problem, they do not get it fixed. When you call them, you talk to people from different countries and you cannot understand what they are saying. It is not a good service. I have them for many years now and if I had a good option, I would take it. You talk to one person and the next day you talk to another person and he tells completely different thing.

I have used them for 3 years. I had a good experience. They came out once in last five years for service. I don’t know about the price because I haven’t had anything else.
