Our experience with Carroll Painting was excellent. Their commitment to the highest quality craftsmanship at reasonable prices best sums up working with them. They did a whole house exterior painting of a large stucco home for us. They used the finest quality paint for all trim, soffits and fascia and deep coats of elastomeric stucco paint in both sprayed and hand rolled application. Our house not only looks great, but is also great to the touch when compared to the dry, deeply weathered and faded stucco surface we had. Steps: Whole house pressure wash; whole house caulking and sealing; patch/repairs to stucco; whole house painting. I would also like to compliment Peter Carroll for his flexibility and willingness to work with us on our color choices. He said he wanted us to be happy with the final job no matter what so we did go back and forth on color choices in the beginning. Once we finalized our choices, with the help of his excellent color sense and recommendations, and the assurance we could make changes during the job if we needed to; we ended up making only one change (on the color of the garage doors) and now have house that pops, tastefully. Their work crew was just as committed to excellence and flexibility as the company owners. They did not watch the clock often working long into the early evening to complete their day’s goal. They were a pleasure to work with.

Peter Jr. came out, looked over and measured the deck, rails, spindles and stairs and then discussed the three options for staining the deck. After getting another, and much higher estimate, I asked Carroll painting to do the work. They called and gave me a date to start the work so my wife and I could clear the deck of furniture. The work crew showed up on time and started sanding everything and then power washed everything before departing. They returned late the next morning and checked to make sure the deck was dry and then started staining all parts of the deck. We went with a semi-transparent stain and the crew hand brushed all of the deck and it came out great. I'd hire them again and would recommend their services.

We needed our window trim and baseboards repainted after 15 years. Peter walked around inside, looking at every window and baseboard, then he came back with his team and showed them. They needed to match several colors since different ones were used during the construction. The team came and did an initial great job, and then came back and thoroughly completed a punch list that I had prepared, even seeing things that I had missed. Everyone was polite and pleasant, and careful with our home's contents and floors. Peter was a very cooperative and competent owner. I would highly recommend Carroll Painting to anyone.

While it was the most expensive bid we received, we got more than our money's worth. Peter is very knowledgeable and direct and did exactly what he said he would do. The multi-step, thorough process he and his crew use gave us a world-class result. Our house looks beautiful! And Peter's crew was excellent and very professional. They worked hard and had great attention too detail. They cleaned up every day and addressed any and all concerns throughout the project. Peter and his crew even came out one last time to touch up some spots and repair some stucco after we had our deck removed. I would use Carroll Painting again and highly recommend them.

"I am very sorry that you are not happy with our work but we always explain in depth to each owner the difficulty of matching colors of existing stucco and we write on every stucco patch bid that the color match to the existing stucco is not guaranteed and that the owner of the property is in understanding of this. And we talked about the fact that the repairs would not be as noticeable as the holes. Again we are sorry for your dissatisfaction although we put aside other work in order to help you out ahead of the wedding party to fill the unsightly holes left when your deck was re built Kind Regards, Peter"

Our house needed a lot of preparation. Carroll's painting pressure washed it and wire brushed it. They had to prime the entire house. They did a GREAT job of painting. The house looks brand new. Great attention to prep, painting, detail, and professionalism. We've had three home painted in our life and Carroll's Painting is the BEST! You'd be crazy to call anyone else!

The original restoration and painting was in 2010, since then I needed to have some minor issues repaired and painted. Each time Carroll Painting made the repairs without question. Peter Carroll was on site to make sure the work was completed properly and covered by his company's warranty.

We are so pleased with the recent stucco repair, painting and double deck sand/paint job. Our home looks brand new now … it is 17 years old and you would never know that. Peter Carroll has an awesome crew that worked tirelessly for 5 days to get the job completed. We especially appreciated all of their hard work: Sal, Leo, Jose and Luis. They worked as an efficient team, cleaned up the property each day, set up a staging area for the empty paint cans, misc., there was no smoking on the job, they responded to my questions/input timely. We met Peter two years ago shortly after we purchased this home. I had looked at other stucco/paint contractors and reviews before deciding to go with Carroll Painting. The job went very well and we are very pleased with the job they did. They were neat and cleaned up when finished. They also left us touch up paint for each type of paint they used (and used high quality Sherwin Williams paints exclusively). The painting crew worked hard and were very responsive to our suggestions. They also got the project done quickly to minimize our inconvenience. Peter Carroll of Carroll Painting stopped by two or three times a day to make sure the job was being done to our satisfaction.

Carroll Painting did several projects to our home: exterior painting, stucco repair, and stucco color coating. I obtained several quotes from contractors that did this type of work. All were prompt and polite. What distinguished Carroll Paint was the willingness to discuss the product features and consider a paint that was rated high in Consumer Reports paint testing. Other contractors were resistant In the past I have followed CRs recommendations and experienced good results. Carroll's bid was consistent with other bids. His policy was to do all the work first and then be paid. This was a welcome feature. Afterward he had asked for a time to meet me and do a walk around to determine if there was any follow up required. We had a few small items and he was quick to remedy. I was impressed with the detail to prepare the build and the clean up afterwards. He appears to use the same crew for his jobs which is also a plus because the team is experienced.

Wow, Wow, Wow!
This is the second time we have used Carroll Painting and the results each time have been outstanding. Had our entire home interior painted including trim and cabinets. Walls were patched and painted to perfection. The detail work between the walls and trim/ceilings is truly amazing - lines are perfect. We were originally uncertain about painting cabinets but the finished cabinets really look better than when they were new. Sal and his crew were VERY accommodating. Each time we requested something be done, he said OK and delivered exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend Carroll Painting. If you can, have Peter assign Sal to your job - you will not be disappointed.

OUTSTANDING!!! Mr. Carroll is a pleasure to work with. Talked to multiple painters, but Carroll Painting was the only company we really considered . Price was fair and he treated us like human beings not just a money source. His crew, led by Carlos, was the hardest working crew I have every dealt with. The last time we had our house painted it took almost two weeks. Carlos and crew finished in 4 days and the results were far better. We are so pleased with the results we have hired Carroll Painting to paint the interior of our home - walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets. The cost for the interior will be a little over $12,000 but if the results are as good as the exterior - WELL worth the cost. Thank you Peter Carroll. I highly recommend Carroll Painting to all.

Our 3900+ sq. ft. 1979 stucco house (originally wood), including some 24 deteriorating wood-framed windows (many leaking) and skylights, was in dire need of repair and repainting (we bought our house in an "as-is" condition in 2012). After consulting with Peter Carroll, even though his price was higher than other companies we got quotes from, we knew he had the background, knowledge,
and commitment to quality we were looking for. Plus he is very intelligent, thoughtful,personable and accessible. as well a respectful listener -- just a great guy all around. From the beginning, we intuitively felt he was a person of trustworthiness and integrity, and our intuition proved to be spot on. This was extremely important to us in making our decision.
Having been business owners (printing and graphic design) ourselves for over 25 years, we have a passion for craftsmanship and quality, so we recognized a kindred spirit in Peter. We also had lived on the East Coast, like Peter, and had a basic understanding of the importance of restoring wood-framed windows the way the "old masters" working on older houses had done. Peter knew these techniques, both the preparation and painting, which he had learned from his father and grandfather, and this was a key factor in our decision making.
So basically, we were not looking for a run-of-the-mill paint job; we already knew we eventually would regret such a decision down the road. We were looking for MASTERFUL painting and restoration that would last for the long term (as long as possible of course) -- and that's what we got with Peter Carroll and his stellar, efficiently hard-working crew.
During the process, Peter had great ideas on a number of details we hadn't even thought of, details that made a huge difference overall, and he patiently worked with us on the color scheme, which turned out even better than expected.
All in all, the house has now been transformed in many truly stunning ways. We were so pleased with the results that we also had him redo all of our decks afterwards. Turned out better than expected as well. Also, the company has an excellent warranty. Therefore, the more expensive decision we made was well worth it in both quality and value.

I originally contacted Peter for an estimate on stucco crack repairs. He pointed out numerous other cracks and proposed that painting with elastomeric paint would be better and more cost efficient in the long run. Peter?s trained crew of three waited for the right weather and expertly finished the job in 4.5 days. Even though the stucco required more paint than expected, I was not charged any additional from the original contract.

We had external fascia trim painted as well as stucco repaired along with caulking around our windows. We are extremely pleased with all the work done. Everything was taken care of by the excellent crew aswell as extras we could not have anticipated.
Our home looks years newer now. And all was included in a most reasonable price as quoted. Best of all was the attention to detail
and versatility of the crew, outstanding!!

The lead, Jaime, walked me around the property and pointed out all the additional small repairs they made that we hadn't noticed--all within the original bid. I needed wallpaper removed from part of my kitchen, various small repairs to the wall surface, and the whole thing painted. I received 3 bids and Carroll's painting was the most competitive. The painters showed up at the agreed-upon time, and the work was executed per our agreement. I am very satisfied with the results, and would use Carroll Painting again.
