I love that I can contact Eric by e-mail early in the morning and the snow is always removed when I get home from work.  They do a good thorough job and are completely reliable.

To be fair, the yard needed significant work after 12 years of semi-neglect. We had a hard time agreeing on the work despite walking my property 3 times. Original bid request was done the middle of April and revised the end of April. Work began in mid-May, with a requested completion date of May 30 due to us needing to move our dogs out before the rear grass was repaired. Work was finally completed on June 6.
There were serious communication issues throughout the project. I felt as though my project wasn't "big" enough to garner the attention it needed. At one point, I was told the work was complete despite the fact that the front rock bed had not been touched. Eric Cano finally went out and looked at his employee's work and agreed to do the job correctly. Eric is friendly and helpful, but I just felt we were unable to agree on this job.
In several conversations, Eric Cano stated that the delays and miscommunications were because my husband and I had different ideas on what was needed and he didn't want to come between us. I felt this was not professional and really just an excuse for only giving half an effort to our project.
It was hard finding any landscaper to do this clean up work. After finishing this project ourselves, including repairing the damaged caused by dragging wheelbarrows over the front lawn and weeding the rest of the rock beds, I advise people to just hire the neighborhood kids and supervise them. It would probably be less stressful.

Very prompt (responded right before next snow storm), courteous and very professional.

Eric was great, we called three companies and he was the only one to get over to the house right away and provide an estimate. Once I hired him, he worked with our tenant at the property to have the work  completed in a timely fashion. He responds quickly and thoroughly to my e-mails. Would definitely use them again. We hired Eric and his crew to finish off our yard that had been a family project for several years, and they did not disappoint. We had done so much and needed a professional team to finish off the soil and sod. They arrived as promised and got right after it. They tackled several unexpected challenges throughout the job easily. They tilled in the soil amendment as required for the CSU New Establishment watering permit, we didn't think our soil could look be healthy. During that process they made adjustments and repairs to our sprinkler system. Eric wanted to ensure that their work would not be wasted. Once the sod arrived installation was quick, and it made an instant change. For years, our yard never had grass, so wow, what a change. Eric and his team were awesome, I am pretty detailed focused, and it was great to find someone and their team who did the job as if it was their own home. I would hire Cano Custom Landscapes in a minute for our next job. Eric and his team took our yard to the next level and we were extremely lucky to find them. So to all our Angie's List neighbors, we highly suggest that you look to Eric and his team for your next landscape project. They will take care of you!

I will use Cano Custom Landscapes again.  I had a great experience.  I had some sprinkler issues figured out that I will have repaired come spring.

It went well.  I was not able to be there the whole time but they still were able to complete the job.

This whole process was FANTASTIC.  Eric Cano gave me and accurate and honest estimate.  Though a little pricey, in the end I got what I paid for...a perfect rehabilitation and gorgeous front year landscape.  Eric had the right size crew and equipment.  They were professional, worked clean, and worked fast.  The materials used were top-knotch. The entire process, which would have taken me weeks, was finished in just under two days!  If I ever need additional landscaping, Cano Custom Landscapes will be my first stop.

Eric was responsive to get out to my home to give me an estimate and offer some alternative ideas.  He definitely knows how to prune the many different plants and what can't be cut.  He is also very knowledgeable about sprinkler systems and was able to redo my existing system, using a hybrid of some spray on my large beds and then using drip systems where more appropriate.  This time of year he is busy but will be responsive and get you in the schedule as soon as you commit.  Took me less than two weeks to get my work done.  
     Eric and Cano Custom Landscapes are true professionals, responsive but a little higher priced than other quotes.  You pay for what you get and I wasn't disappointed.

I had to call several landscaping companies to find someone to come and provide a quote - everyone was so busy.  I finally received 3 quotes.  Eric returned my call right away and scheduled the estimate date.  He came on time and provided a quote within a week.  He told me it would be approximately 3 weeks before he could start work and that's what it turned out to be.  His crew worked very hard and were very nice.

Great. Once the existing grass was dead, they started on Monday and were done Friday afternoon. 5 days!! I would contract with Eric Cano and his team again. Funny enough, I think 2 neighbors hired him to do work in their yards while he was finishing up our yard. :)
