Every time we have had Brown's Heating & Cooling--our problems have been fixed well, efficiently and correctly. We have 2 furnaces and 2 a/c units, both are 2 yrs old from a complicated mountain new home build. The original installer (Air Concepts) left us with multiple problems as soon as we moved-in and he tried to fix them but he never got the problems fixed. So we investigated who's the best in town and Brown's was highly-recommended to us by a commercial property HVAC company (who we use for our commercial properties for the last 20 years and trust). Today, Mike, found the furnace problem fix in about 5 seconds. I don't know the exact details but remember there was a water pooling problem that was caused by improper installation due to the furnace having to be mounted on its side since in a crawl space. And also both furnaces needed the starter cleaned (or close to that, I may have the terminology a little wrong). So, I sit here now in a silent, warm house, finally without our furnace short-cycling, turning on/off every few minutes! Amazing! Mike figured out what the installer couldn't. I know this review is following a negative review, but I wouldn't be swayed, esp when the Brown's owner leaves a detailed reply to further explain. Brown's really is the best, they have various expert technicians who handle different issues, and each time, they send their particular expert for that particular problem. The communication from their receptionist is stellar too--we always know when they will come and if there are any changes, she keeps us informed. If we ever build a new home again--we will insist to the builder that we want Brown's to do all the HVAC installation. There is a reason why Brown's reviews are so high no matter which review service you read--they are the best!

Terrible. They wired the part wrong and caused it to fail after three months. Suggested that the fan motor or furnace be replaced when neither were the problem. Then lied to me about the warranty stating that it was only one month when in fact it was one year from the manufacturer (I would't want to send the part back to the manufacturer either since it was obviously wired improperly)

"UNTRUE- On 11/03/21 you contacted us to schedule a service call. You informed us that you lost heat over the weekend and even though it was working again, you still wanted someone to come take a look. We went out and found that you needed a new control board. We replaced the board with a generic brand since OEM is not available due to the age of your system. The following day you called us back, informing us there was a burning smell and no heat. We sent a technician back over, at no additional charge, and found everything was operating properly. We cycled both the fan and furnace manually and found no issues. We informed you that the "burning smell" was most likely coming from the blower motor. Whenever that part begins to fail, a "burning smell" is the most common complaint. Due to the age of your furnace (22 years), we recommended you replace it. We made this recommendation as it makes the most sense when you are starting to deal with major repairs on an older unit. It is more cost-effective to replace the system instead of making multiple large and costly repairs. Four months later, which brings us to March 30, you contacted us and demanded a refund for November's service or else you would leave us negative reviews. The control board the other company replaced was the same brand and part number as the one that we used. Our vendor where we got the control board from has a ZERO-day warranty on used electronical components. We (as a company) have a 30-day warranty on repairs. Had we been called out at any time between 11/04/21 and 03/30/22, we would have come back out for free to reassess the situation. If our repair was faulty for whatever reason, we would have extended our warranty policy and fixed the issue. The bottom line is that you did not provide us that opportunity, hence why we didn't submit to your demands and declined refunding your money. Our technicians are highly skilled and trained in our trade. We always stand behind our work."

Josh and Christian were above all punctual, polite, and had great attitudes with the work that was done today... everything was was explained to me about what was being done before, and when the water heater was put in, it was explained, what had been done. A tarp was laid, in case there was any leaks from the old water heater. They cleaned the area where they worked and removed the tarp. This was a very pleasant experience and will always go with Brown’s heating and cooling.

I moved into an existing house 2 years ago and just this past weekend our furnace would not stay lit, terrible timing as it was the middle of January and COLD out. I went down to see if I could fix it and saw Brown's Heating sticker on the furnace. I called, they answered and said their tech would call me soon with an approximate time he will show up.
What happened next is what really set them apart. I explained what the problem was and the tech walked me through how to fix it over the phone (it was super easy) because he didn't want me to pay the extra charges for a weekend appt. UNREAL!
Well the furnace is still running fine, but I gotta tell you, I won't even think of calling anyone else if I need furnace services again.
These people are true class acts running an honest business!

Needed a vent fixed on furnace which was broken during water heater replacement (Sears). First company (not Browns) went straight for the upgrade, which was somewhat reasonable since the furnace was past its lifespan. Had a two other bids, once of which was Browns. What impressed me most was they actually saw a crack indicating the furnace definitely needed replacing, it wasn't just an option to consider. It seemed to my husband and I that the other heating companies should have noticed this. Anyway, the price was competitive and the service was super.

Did all required work in basement utility room satisfactorily, was a tight fit for larger water heater but barely fit in old water heater space. New water heater works fine and passed inspection.

We have been using them for 17 or 18 years. They are dependable, punctual, and their service is outstanding. We have a yearly maintenance agreement with them. We will continue to use Brown's Heating and Cooling.

I would recommend them to others. I think the last time they came out they charged $50 to come out and then it was $150 altogether for everything. I like that the employees are really nice and very friendly. They did some work for us one year putting in some extra things and I felt they were real honest about what we needed to get the heating better downstairs. The guy that usually comes out every year and services the furnace told us that some people would tell us that we need to add a furnace which we had already heard. He told us that we could get the same affect by adding some floor vents. The recirculation of heat was a problem and it has made a tremendous difference. It is the same with the air conditioning and it was about a year ago. I just really like him. I don’t know the owner but they have wonderful employees. I haven’t compared their prices. They may be more expensive. They are absolutely punctual. They are a reputable company and they have always done well.

They are awesome. They are great, they are very professional, they tell you what they are going to do and they do it. They are upfront with prices. If anything is going to cost a little more they tell you why. They are really good. I didn't feel inconvenienced at all. They were really good about covering vents so that dust didn't come in the house. They thought about all of that stuff so they took care of everything.
