Fantastic! Carpet looked like new when done. Stains were gone and the carpet hadn’t been cleaned in 3 years

The owner of Blues Carpet Cleaning showed up at my house, knocked on the door and asked me to move my car so he could park in the driveway (as if he already had the job and this wasn't about a bid). After inspecting the basement carpet he said he could get the urine stains out (from the previous dog) for an extra $70 (approx.), he assured me this enzyme would work and then proceeded to tell me his qualifications which included crime scene clean ups. (Crimes scene clean ups are performed by contracted and cleared companies), I doubt he's one of them. But, I thought if it didn't work I could get him back out so I signed the contract and authorized him to clean the carpet and use the "special enzyme", then wrote him a check for the job.
When he finished he packed up his equipment and simply left out closing the back sliding glass door, leaving it completely open. He didn't even have the courtesy to let me know he was done or leaving or even close the screen door when he left. The job was performed on a Friday and the carpet was so wet it took until Monday for it to dry (luckily I hadn't moved in so there was no furniture yet). When I looked at the dried carpet I could see the stains were not only still there but there were more of them, I'm guessing since the carpet was cleaned the stains that were hiding in the dirt were now visible. I called him about the stains and he told me it was past the 3 day guarantee so there was nothing he could/would do about it. I did look at the contract and sure enough there was a 3 day guarantee (my fault for not reading it better). I was so incensed that the stains were still there (and more) and the carpet was so wet that you couldn't see the remaining stains until it dried, that I contacted KRDO and did an interview with Lindsey Watts. I simply wanted my $70 (approx.) back (not the entire amount) but he refused to reimburse me, he was only concerned that the segment on the news would hurt his business.
If you're wondering why I waited until now to write this review, it's because every time I get one of his coupons in a mailer it takes me back to that day and I still feel taken advantage of. The crumpling and disposal of each and every coupon gives me no relief, so I figure if I tell others about my experience with this business then maybe I can get some closer and prevent others from my mistake of hiring him. I ended up having to replace the carpet, a very unexpected expense I didn't need when buying a house. I wouldn't hire Blues Carpet Cleaning if he offered to do a job for free.

I called on 1/28 and made an appt for 1/30 at 9am. I stated I had a coupon available online for $80 for 5 rooms and did not want to spend more than that. At 915 Saturday morning, Jose called to say their heater was broken in their truck and they wanted to reschedule. I stated we had a party on Sunday, and could not wait. He stated "O.k. we will see how it goes during the day and I will call you back" At 1pm, he had not called back yet, so I called to ask the status. He stated they would be to our house by 5 for sure. At 5pm, I called, and he he asked if they could reschedule for another day. We agreed to reschedule for 5pm Monday Feb 1st. Our party was held on Sunday in our empty family room, except for a couch awaiting the carpet cleaning to be done on Monday. Very disappointing. On Monday, he showed up 30 minutes early at 4:30. I was on my way home from work, so I spoke with him on the phone, and he stated the price was going to be $125, even though his stated price on the coupon was $80. He stated he was giving me a discount of $25 for the inconvenience of Saturday. In my opinion nothing stated in writing the prices was $150, so he might was well have been stating a discount of $1000 off a price of $1150. I felt like he was jacking up the price to cover the repairs he had to make to his vehicle, and taking advantage of the fact our house was out of order awaiting his cleaning job. We went ahead and paid the price of $125, so we could get back to normal. The job was "o.k." He did leave some spots that we were hoping would be gone when he left, but the carpet did look better. I would not recommend using Blues Carpet Cleaning at all.
