BLUE RIBBON TROPHIES

Drove to their old location to drop off the materials. Found out that they had moved. Had to call them for the directions. They said they had moved a year and a half earlier! I thought maybe I was just out of it, but I found out later that they never notified their current customers of their address change. I dropped off the products 2 weeks before I needed them. They said they were busy, but that they would have no problem getting the work done. A day before I needed them, I called to see if they were done. They apologized that they "forgot" to call me. Overall, they provide top-notch work. However, they lack in customer service. If the price was higher, we would probably go somewhere else. It is a husband/wife owned business, and I think they take on more work than they can handle. Real nice people though and they have gone above and beyond when I've needed it. They just need better people skills.

I've had two small statuettes and a plaque sitting on shelves for years, and I finally decided to have plates done with my name, military unit, and dates. I took them to Blue Ribbon (difficult to find the first time as MapQuest has it in the wrong location), and printed out what I wanted on each item. The results were perfect, and the cost ($7.50 apiece for engraving, the plates, and placement) was very reasonable. Blue Ribbon normally does team trophies and corporate plaques, but they had no problem with my small order. I'm very pleased with their work.
