Not well.  it appeared that installing the ceiling fans was a challenge and struggle; the light fixtures were not hung straight and the ceiling fans made noise.  We did ask for a callback and received one but we were essentially told that the issue was the fans(which were not inexpensive, having been purchased from Austin Bluff Lighting.

A home inspection revealed that when the house was constructed 40 years ago, the furnace and sprinkler system were double-tapped on the same 20amp breaker.  This procedure no longer conforms to regional building code.  The Berwick electrician split the connections and installed the correct amperage breaker.  He also fastened a loose box in the garage and walked with me through the house to determine the locations for ground-fault-circuit-interrupter outlets (which I will install later).  He was polite and friendly and explained to me what he was doing and why.  I found this a completely satisfactory experience and recommend Berwick to others.

Things went real well.  First they came and surveyed the home to see the possibility, took several pictures of the attic and garage to determine where and how the lines should run.  It was a long day for them when they actually did the work. About 6 weeks later when all the other renovations we had going on were compete we found out that 4 were not working.   A team was sent out and in under 3 hours they detected the shorts (sensitive wiring) and had them fixed and working.  This company cares about the quality  of their work and stands by it.  Very pleased!

We lost partial power to our house on a Saturday morning and after some investigating, it was suspected that a power cable from the electric company's meter to our breaker box had broken underground.  A call to Berwick revealed they had the equipment to pinpoint the break and complete this fairly complex repair (few electrical repair companies in the area have the equipment and experience Berwick has).  I contacted other companies with similar equipment, but none were responsive like Berwick.  They promptly returned my call, listened to my problem and dispatched a technician within hours on Saturday.  



Due to the complexity of the problem, the required equipment and personnel to search for the break weren't available until Monday.  As such, the technician offered a couple options to temporarily restore power.  He was very transparent about the costs and benefits of both options and allowed us to make an informed decision.  Installing a temporary line was the best option for us and he got it installed quickly.



Berwick came back as planned on Monday, expertly found the break (with dual confirmation for assurances before digging) and repaired the line.  In fact, they found two lines had been compromised and corroded from ground water.  They fixed both lines and repaired the hole they dug--you can't even tell it happened.  Fortunately, the break was under a section of mulch and not turf or driveway, so the hole was easier to backfill.  Nonetheless, Berwick was very considerate of the landscaping and took great care of us.  They communicated each step, gave us options, and expertly resolved the problem.  We were very happy and will use them again.

Berwick isn't the low cost provider, but they were not that much more expensive and having a service provider with the history and reputation of Berwick is worth the additional cost. Terry came out to provide an estimate and was an extremely knowledgeable professional. Frank did all of the installation work and he was a great guy, hard worker, friendly, and cleaned up better than other contractors we've had.
I messed up with my initial bid request and Terry and Frank we quick to provide the additional service I needed.
I would highly recommend Berwick electric. Spend the few extra dollars and get some excellent service.

Fantastic.  Daniel responded within minutes of our after hours emergency call, and showed up faster than expected, as he had another call to deal with first.  Daniel was very professional, courteous and efficient, wasting no time to begin the troubleshooting process.  He explained to me ahead of time that there would be a premium charged due to the after hours nature of the call, so no surprise in the cost for the service.  I would highly recommend Berwick Electric and Daniel in particular for his excellent customer service.  Thanks again!

The recessed lights in my kitchen were not working properly.  Only one out of the four lights would come on, making me think there was a short or a bad connection somewhere.  I called yesterday to request service and the appointment was set for today.  Their electrician, Daniel, was very friendly and professional.  He quickly assessed and diagnosed the problem.  While working on the lights, some insulation was falling out of the ceiling.  Daniel grabbed a trash bag to catch the insulation to minimize the mess, which I appreciated.  After he fixed what turned out to be a loose wire, he cleaned up the insulation mess and was on his way.  I was very pleased with the quick work, clean up and professionalism.  I would hire Berwick again, and would recommend Daniel; he knew what he was doing.

I called one day and the appointment was set for the next day.  We had personally replaced our GFI about 6 mos. ago but it quit on us.  The test button went in but wouldn't pop back out.  That part was replaced.  Also, our hall bathroom had two light switches, one in the bathroom itself and one in an adjoining bedroom to turn on the bathroom light.  We personally replaced the non-operational switch but then it turned off the electricity to the bedroom on the other side of the bathroom.  Strange!  These two problems were solved and we're good to go.  What surprised us is that this electrical work was done through instrumentation without turning off the power to these spaces. 
The work was done quickly and to our satisfaction.  GFI cost about $25, which sounds steep in price but it's undoubtedly a better product than we installed ourselves.  The rest of the cost was labor.  Workman was friendly, efficient, and got the job done for us.  We recommend this company for your electrical needs.

I called on Tuesday afternoon.  I told them that I had a GFI circuit that had tripped and I could not reset.  They told me that they could be out Wednesday around noon and would call 30 minutes before arrival.  Don called about 1215 and arrived about 10 minutes later.  After looking at the GFI outlet he had it repaired in about 15 minutes.  He told me that the outlet had been miss wired when the house was built 5 years ago.  The Line and Lead were reversed and that prevented the GFI from resetting.  It only worked for the past five years because it had never been tripped.  Thank you Berwick for fast courteous service.

I noticed a week or so ago that the outlets in the master bathroom weren't working. Turns out, neither were the outlets in the hall bathroom or the outlet that I knew about in the garage. I finally had time to request service and Waldo from Berwick Electric contacted me very quickly. He said he thought he could talk me through it, as he was pretty sure it was just a GFI receptacle that I needed to find and to trip. 
I found one in the house, but it wasn't the right one. Waldo used a lot of patience with me and pulled up contractor's notes on the house to see where the elusive receptacle might be found. I finally found it in the garage behind the snowshoes, tripped it, and ta-da! The outlets are working perfectly again. Waldo did not charge for the help, but only asked that I remember him and Berwick Electric whenever I need any electrical work. You can bet I sure will! What great service!
