Bennett'S Total Home Comfort

After getting completely screwed over by another well known company, we called Mr. Bennett and thank goodness for that!!! After what would have been a several thousand dollar repair, Mr Bennett came over and fixed part of the problem and will be back Friday to finish and quoted us at about $130. Very honest, kind, and intelligent. Apparently not qualities that every company has. Will use Mr. Bennett for all needs he is capable of handling.

I had another company come out to service my furnace.  They insisted that not only was this furnace bad (because it was emitting carbon monoxide), but a smaller one I had in another room, was also beyond repair.  They stated that the smaller furnace had 2 ppm carbon monoxide being emitted and shouldn't be used. I later found out that they tested it when it had just turned on, which should never be done AND that 2ppm is totally acceptable. They went so far as to send a Unsafe Condition Report to the utility company (they told me they wouldn't send it if I got it taken care of, but sent it right away anyway).  There bid was $2500 for a new (wall) furnace.  Other companies came and bid similar high amounts (up to $2900).  None of the 5 companies even suggested they might be able to fix it!

When I called Michael he said right on the phone "I bet it just needs a good cleaning."  And, offered to come clean it and not charge me if the problem wasn't fixed.

He came out, did a very thorough cleaning (it as VERY dirty) replace a few parts that had worn out and charged me only $420.  He was very interested in if he was providing a good service and asked several times for feedback.  I will definitely use him again and will question what I am told by other companies!
