Terrible experience with the owners of this company! They falsely assured me of the space I would need...despite doing a thorough walk-through with specific questions & information from me. On move day the husband was called when their underestimation became apparent. He proceeded to deny everything they had said previously & fabricated things never said. I stood up to his lies & he became argumentative, extremely disrespectful, condescending, & made personal disparaging remarks about my character. I'm a 67 year old single woman & was shocked by his blatant gaslighting. I finally ordered him to leave my home. In retaliation to ordering him out of my home, he ordered his crew to unload the truck mid job. I had to leave for Missouri, so my household belongings had to be left behind. As of this date, I still don't have my belongings. Other negative reviews indicate similar problems and show a pattern of behavior. Don't risk it...go with another, more honest & reputable moving company.

"This is bizarre and very confusing! Our reputation speaks for itself. 9 out of 10 moves we do are from repeat customers and their referrals. We did an onsite estimate 5 weeks before her move. She assured us that she was selling a lot because she didn’t’ have room at the new address. And ALSO that she had 2 pods reserved for the overflow. We offered to use our 20” trailer as a 2nd truck because it was bigger than the 2 pods she reserved. She refused our offer! She only wanted an estimate for 1 truck. We told her if she needed us to load her pods, that she needed to schedule that crew 1-2 weeks before the move at our local rates, by the hour. She refused that suggestion also. On the day of her move, we showed up as contracted, on time with labor (4 guys) and 1- 26’ truck, fully equipped. She had a tiny Uhaul container on the driveway when we arrived. She had sold almost NOTHING and obviously wasn’t going to fit. She expected our crew (4 guys) to load her container at no charge saying “we were already there anyway”. Jared went to the jobsite to assess what was going on. Jared suggested again that we could do another truck but she was angered that we were going to charge her for the additional truck saying “it was our responsibility to get everything”. Jared was met with raw hatred! He remained calm, professional and polite ( I have it on video) as she became belligerent, screaming at him and calling him a liar and a sleazy businessman, refusing to let him talk and ordered us off her property. SHE ORDERED US OFF HER PROPERTY! Jared told the crew to unload the truck and ‘respectfully’ place everything EXACTLY where they had found it. We issued her a FULL refund for the amount we had collected. We never tried to charge her for the labor we paid our crew that day, however, she tried to bribe our guys to come back on their own time. We try to give everyone our expert advice. She refused all of our suggestions."

Our move to Colorado Springs started with a search of the internet. Bennet’s Moving had a very informative website that offered helpful tips to prepare us for the move. After reviewing a number of companies’ information, we decided to contact Bennet’s. Our first contact was with Wendy, who provided us with helpful information of the moving process. As the moving date approached, she and Jared, the owners, did a video call with us to plan the move. Their experience was evident in the comments they made. By the end of the call, we had a very accurate estimate of the cost of our move. We were able to schedule our move down to the time they’d arrive. Bennet’s Moving moved us from Northeast Texas to Colorado Springs in the dead of winter. Despite logistical challenges that presented, the move went off without a hitch. Jared and his crew showed up on time with the supplies needed to pack us up. Following the initial walkthrough, they proceeded to put down protective pads and blankets to protect our home. They worked hard and nonstop to get us loaded, and they took great care doing so. Jared’s crew was polite and listened to our thoughts concerning where and how to pack our things. They arrived at our new place exactly when they told us they would, offloaded quickly and carefully, and were on their way. Throughout the process, Jared maintained good communications with us. Always polite and patient, Jared was ready with answers to our questions. Due to a couple of factors, our move was in two parts two weeks apart. About a week before the second part of the move, Jared called and said that the second part of the move would be significantly cheaper than the first move because he would be able to pick up the second load while returning from South Texas. We were very pleased at his unilateral offer that saved us quite a bit of money. All in all, we had a very pleasant experience with Bennett’s. They were reasonably priced, reliable, experienced, and capable. Additionally, all of Jared’s crew were courteous and professional.

Everything went very smoothly...from the estimate to the end of the move. I got tired watching how Fay's the guys moved stuff. The job was done quickly and professionally. The workers moved so fast that the final bill was hundreds below the estimate. I'd give them an A+ if I could.

The movers showed up 45 minutes early, which set the tone for the rest of the move. The overall impression was that they wanted to get done quickly, at the expense of thoroughness. There were random items left behind in the basement and the garage. Some were not difficult to move ourselves afterward, but major items like a futon and mattress were an issue. Interestingly, the subordinate of the crew asked me where I wanted the futon, when they arrived at the new house. So, I assumed, as he did, that it had been moved. When I called the company about it I was asked why I didn't do a walk through when they offered it. My honest reply was that they didn't mention a walk through. They simply packed up the truck and left. There were high value equipment items that supposedly fell out of a bag, which were placed in the new house. That caused a little concern that everything actually made it to the new house. But, due to a surgery, and correcting the deficiencies of the move, I haven't had time to inventory our stuff. They offered to send the same crew to pick up the items they left behind it if I paid for it. I considered that, but really didn't want the same crew back in our house. They were polite, and the subordinate on the crew was very professional. But, the crew foreman was a little sketchy.

We have moved many times, with way too much stuff! Bennett's Moving was the best we have ever experienced, even in comparison to the big nationwide "moving van" companies. They were efficient, flexible, polite, and actually seemed to care about getting your belongs undamaged from Point A to Point B. Everything with the slightest potential for being damaged was carefully wrapped in blankets. Yes, there were a couple of minor mishaps, as always happens, but they were insignificant. I think moving costs a lot no matter who does it, but their bid was among the lowest. I would hire Bennett's again, and recommend them to anybody who asks.

I have very low expectations when it comes to moving companies. I usually ask around for referrals, pick one, and keep my fingers crossed. I was completely blown away by these guys! Bennett's Moving showed up on time and asked if they could walk around each room to go over what was going in their truck and what wasn't. These guys were speedy, extra careful, and erred on the side of caution when protecting my furniture. When we got to the storage unit, they said all my items probably would not fit and asked me if I could secure another storage unit which I did. Mike and Daniel worked so hard and put my items into the storage unit as if they were playing a game of Tetris!! They got it all into one unit and saved me money from having to rent another unit.
When the truck showed up to the storage unit they noticed one of the legs had broken on one of my end tables. They filed a damage report, removed the leg off the end table, took it back to the office, and in less than a week the owner called me to let me know she had gone to the furniture store where we bought the table and asked the furniture store to order a replacement leg. While she was at the furniture store, one of the employees repaired the broken leg and she asked if she could bring it to my house. I told her she could cancel the replacement order and she said she wanted me to have both of them, in case anything were to happen in the future. I don't think you can find a better mover here in Colorado Springs. Integrity is EVERYTHING...and these guys have it for sure!

Bennett's moving is great. I would recommend them. My load was at 9200 feet and the movers came from around 6800 feet. A big difference at that altitude and they worked for about 4 1/2 hours with only a few very small breaks. It snowed the day before and the ground was still covered with snow. My house was two story and heavy pieces were on both floors. I have drive up access on both floors but the loaders choose not to move the truck because they were afraid if the truck was moved to the lower level, I would not be able to get the truck out of the drive. They carried several very heavy pieces out the garage, up the hill in the snow and loaded it in the truck. They were very carefull with my furniture and were able to get more furniture in the truck than I had thought they could. I am very happy with my furniture load.

The 3 men that did the work were great. Prompt, careful and courteous. They were very careful not to damage our belongings. There was one item that did get damaged and the company was very good about making sure that the repair was done to our satisfaction.

They did a fantastic job. We have a very expensive TV and were worried it may be damaged in the move. They wrapped it extremely well, and placed it in the truck with straps so it would not move at all during the trip. They padded the door frames so if they did accidentally brush against them, nothing got damaged. Overall we are extremely satisfied with their work and would not hesitate to use them again.

Paid $100 a hour. Not happy that they took a break eating ice cream and smoking cigarettes while on the job. Took time to pet the dogs. They socialized more than I liked. Did a great job packing my breakables and they were not rough with the furniture. No damage to furniture or walls.

Jared came out and gave an estimate a few weeks before the move and suggested a three man team. He was helpful and informative, and he followed up a week or so later to set up the move date (and saved me a phone call!). He confirmed the move the night before, and they showed up half an hour early that day. The guys were friendly and helpful and extremely efficient. They dismantled things that needed taken apart and then reassembled at the new location. They were very careful and thoughtful with large furniture that I was worried about. My house and furniture took two and a half truck loads to move from one house to the other (3 miles), so there was lots to do! I can't say enough about this company, they were amazing and so careful with all of my things, and I will HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE!! If you don't believe me, call Jared for an estimate and see what I mean!

The company did an excellent job protecting floors, walls, doorways and etc. They worked hard and efficiently always checking to see if we were satisfied. Even though we didn't hire them directly, as they were called by the estate sale company we used, we would use them again and may when we move out of our home soon. They were punctual and very professional. Very good experience.

The movers arrived on time. They began with a walk around to identify items to be moved and discuss anything that needed extra care. They loaded the truck in about 45 minutes, and were careful with everything. The job was finished in less than 3 hours as estimated.
