Bridget and the crew at Bella Giardino turned a vision into reality. At our initial meeting, Bridget was very personable making for a relaxed discussion. She obviously listened closely and perceived the desires behind our words to create a fabulous design demonstrated with 3D visuals. We were amazed to see it come to life by the hard-working, friendly, and courteous dog-loving crew. With a strict HOA and a nearly 17,000 sq. foot new construction lot to deal with, Bella delivered good value for price when compared to other estimates received. Our home was surrounded by a functional and gorgeous flowing design mixing multiple colors and textures (grasses, stones, mulch, dry creek bed, boulders, walled paver patio) plus a great variety of sequentially flowering perennials. When mapping out the ground design prior to starting work, they very reasonably accommodated our request to expand the planned back yard patio and created a masterful walled paver patio integrated into our deck stairway while adapting the adjacent landscape design to purpose. After project services are good. Getting on their schedule requires patience, but it is worth the wait. We highly recommend Bella Giardino.

I have worked with Bridget & crew on 2 occassions, both times I have been very pleased with the results. They built a large paved patio and hardscaped/landscaped my lot. Bridget was very creative with the landscape plans and made adjustments when necessary. Highly recommend this company. She will embrace your vision, and make it happen! Crew is polite and always cleans up after themselves.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Bella Giardino! First of all, Bridget is an amazing landscape designer - so talented! We got bids from some other companies as well and her design was so much more creative, and it even came in less expensive than the others. Her process is also very cool... we went over the whole design in the office and got to see a 3D, color rendering of it on a large screen TV. We were able to change anything we wanted and see instantly what it would look like. Bridget was involved at every stage - working directly with the HOA to get our plan approved, going with us to help pick out decorative rock and pavers, being on-site to layout all of our plants and trees, and afterward, thoroughly teaching us how to care for everything (we even have a binder with all that info for future reference). The Bella Giardino crew is also great! They were prompt, courteous, hard workers and were willing to answer any questions we had throughout the installation. We have gotten nothing but compliments since our landscaping was completed! I highly recommend Bella Giardino Landscape & Garden Design!!

Trustworthy landscapers are hard to find. They all sound the same initially, but how their work stands up over time, is how trust is built. We've put in the time and money and found Bella Giardino to be highly skilled, competent, and to put out high quality landscaping. They have also provided us several excellent referrals for work they do not do (such as concrete driveways and asphalt). The work is lead by three people... Bridget, Mark, and Oswaldo. There will always be at least one but likely all three people working on the project at one point or another. They have excellent judgment when "uh oh's" come up. They don't take short cuts or hide things (thinking you'll never see them). They know the building codes and go beyond them to be sure you'll not have to call them back out to fix something. But, should that ever happen, they stand behind their work. They showed up early, as always, and they cleaned up everything each day. So, for example, spreading out a tarp to catch mortar and cement gets cleaned up and folded each day, then unfolded the next day. They spray off dust, sweep up debris, and put ladders and tools neatly aside so that the project doesn't look like they stopped at 5:00 pm and just walked away. They are all very personable and friendly and no one smoked at all on the job site. That's something you don't see very often. We live in Black Forest and I usually have to tell the foreman and follow up to be sure smokers smoke in their vehicles. But with Bella, none of their employees smoked. They didn't even smell like smoke, so maybe they don't even smoke. That's like finding a unicorn! It was, literally, a breath of fresh air! They work quickly, but didn't sacrifice quality. The project (size, shape, materials, color, timing, and budget) came in exactly as we all planned. We did spend a few days up front planning which is part of making sure the execution goes well. They finished ahead of schedule and the finished product (outdoor fireplace) looks better that we imagined. For our particular project, we went with a front-venting gas fireplace. This had a couple advantages. First, all the heat came out where you were sitting rather than up the chimney. Second, the cost saving for not having to build-out an actual chimney was probably a $3K savings. The flame only uses about 50,000 btu's (which sounds small - but is about what you can get using a front-venting system), but all of the 50,000 btu's come out the front where you are. If you use a 150,000 btu flame with a chimney, most of the heat is lost. Anyway, we are satisfied with both the look of the flame and the heat output. We consider ourselves to have high standards and Bella is on our list. I would not use another landscaper, period.

Amazing, in every respect. Bella Giardino had redone my front yard in 2014 (see my review). They were my first and only call for redoing my back yard. I initially wanted to replace the brick patio and lawn with rock gardens; it became a much larger project! In the course of our initial consultation, Bridget and Justin pointed out that the railroad-tie retaining wall was decaying. Bridget and Justin designed a beautiful yard, with a STONE retaining wall, re-laying of the pavers making up the walkways but badly distorted over 40 years by tree roots. My #1 criterion was that the trees responsible be saved; the crew regraded the affected section, raising the level by about 12" and relaid the pavers. I now have a lovely, LEVEL walkway, with nighttime lighting. I left choosing the plants up to Bridget; she knows her stuff much better than I do. Oh, yes--the previous sprinkler system was reworked (and repaired). The crew was courteous, efficient, and absolutely professional. They accommodated my questions and requests at every point. My only regret is that I don't have any more yards for Bella Giardino to redo for me! I recommend them totally.

[Sorry I don't have before pictures, but the after pics are a drastic improvement from what was originally there] Highly recommend. Justin took us through the design phase and provided a realistic look at the pricing. Our lot is about 12000Sqft and Justin worked with us to get everything we desired out of the project at a VERY fair price. Mark and Oswaldo both led a highly skilled team and repaired our tri-rail fense (over 300') and built new gates. All in all they accomplished 2 weeks worth of work professionally and efficiently in 1 week. This company provides value in the types of plants they select (that survived a Monument winter) and maintained the business relationship, checking in on us over the course of the year since project completed to ensure we were happy with everything. If you are searching for a reliable, honest, and upfront company to work lanscaping for your home...I'd strongly suggest you sit down with Bridgette and Justin. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Don't be fooled by her pretty aesthetics, under Bridgette's work is faulty working done quick. Our house was nearly on fire. A fraud! She failed us twice, my parents hired her for our complete backyard landscaping in the Flying Horse Club area and first the pavers had sunken in because Bridgette failed to pack down the ground completely. Secondly (this recently happened) my parents' grill that Bridgette installed blew up into flames, the fire department told us that the wood that was the structure for the stone gas grill was not fire retardant. The firemen told us that this incident was bound to happen because of Bridgette's faulty building. My parents were unable to reach her because this company blocked them off of all social media when they contacted her about the sunked pavers. Save your money and hire someone else. My parents paid $7,000 for that grill to just blow up in flames.

We have ordered a fire report and will continue to look into this. This is the first time our company has been notified of this concern, and we greatly understand your frustration. We wish we were notified once the incident arose so we could have helped resolve the issue immediately. Our team always responds to past and current clients as it is very important to us. We’d like to take a moment to address out situation for both yourself and our readers. We did landscape your parent’s entire property (front and back); however, your comments about our team compacting and paving incorrectly are not accurate – nor is the price you quoted. All around your homes foundation settled due to the over dig the builder had to do to pour your foundation. Then it is re filled with soil and compacted. This is a hole 15’ or more deep and extends up to 5’ past your home. So when the entire foundation sinks a 1’ or more that is because deep down there are voids from lack of compaction and the soil begins to sink. The failing pavers were out of our control because the voids were deep in the ground. We built your patio at ICPI standards and we stand behind that. We also conveniently went back to the home twice to further assist your family with the landscaping process. That was a courtesy of ours because we do care about our clients. Bridget and the Bella Giardino company have both always been honest business professionals, and we would be happy to reach out to your parents to discuss the situation, and create a remedy and positive outcome for them."

We chose Bella Giardino because the initial meetings and design presentations were extremely well done. Justin and Bridgette were low key, highly professional, well spoken and highly detailed and knowledgeable. They were not the lowest cost provider, but we tend to put quality and value at the top of our criteria when choosing where to spend our $$. Honcho Oswaldo was a true pro, taking time for us as often as we desired, managing his hard working professional crew as well as it can be done. Crew was on site by 7 AM every morning for almost 2 weeks, Justin and Bridgette on site to check in and review about every other day or more. They could have cut a number of corners but did not. Focused attention to the small stuff from everyone involved. Final product is excellent, we could see that great care and attention was paid to every little detail in design and implementation. Communications were a little rugged prior to the start of the actual work as BG work schedule was hampered by some extended poor weather. Were it not for the communications issues, BG would receive 100% from us across the board. We would definitely recommend BG to our friends and family.

Outstanding! The finished product was better than we could have imagined! Bridget built a 3D image of what the project was going to look like and the results were outstanding. Bridget, Mark, Oswaldo and every person on Bella's team delivered the same level of professionalism, focus on doing it right and customer satisfaction. You get what you pay for, and to have a team of pros working together in unison it was worth every penny. We got plenty of estimates but would choose Bella again.

Everything went well! My backyard looks great! Can't wait when we can actually put plants in. Bridget was professional. Will use them again! They are reliable. I have contacted other landscapers before and they don't even call you back. I won't trust any other landscaper but them.

Bridget came out to see our yard on 04/22. We have some existing landscaping, but needed a whole yard design. She came back on 04/23 to measure the yard & take photos. I heard multiple reasons for delays with the landscape design (family emergency & a computer crash). When we met to go over the initial design on 06/08, part of the design of the yard was missing & she only had 4 photos of my yard on her computer. It was the weekend after the 4th of July when our design was dropped off at our door step. Since 7/4, I've contacted Bella Giardino Landscape multiple times (at least 3 or 4 times) with questions that are not covered in the landscape design or errors that are in the landscape design. On 7/30, Bridget emailed me with more answers & asked if I would like a new landscape design. I said yes, because with the errors on the design, this might cause a problem later on. The corrected design arrived in the mail a week and a half later. I emailed Bridget on approximately 8/11, about one more plant that is in the design, but not listed in the plant legend. At this point in time I have not heard back on this question.
I purchased an Angie's list deal, which was supposed to include $ 500.00 towards any work performed by the company from the design. I never received an estimate on any work from Bridget. She told me to hire someone to do the siloam stairs. I said, I thought you would be doing those. Bridget said, I had no idea we were going to be doing any work for you. That doesn't make sense to me, why would you list a special & then not actually price something out for the customer? At this point, I would not have them come out to do any work.
Overall, I do have to say that I do love the design. I am sure it took a lot of work to take our existing landscaping, try to work it in with new landscaping & come up with something as lovely as Bridget came up with. I do love the design; and therefore, I do feel that the $ 500.00 was worth the design. However, the process has taken quite sometime & having to contact Bella Giardino Landscape with multiple questions and to fix errors in the design has been cumbersome.

We had a great experience with Bridget, her foreman Mark and their crew, the best of any landscaper we have ever used and we are very happy with the results. This was a very large and complex project that had lots of challenges including the awful May weather but Bridget and crew handled it all with great communication and grace. We found her to be very easy to work with, share ideas and work through difficulties. She was available by phone at any time for questions and concerns. Whenever you start a project like this, you are never quite sure what the experience with the contractor is going to be like. My wife and I usually only use a contractor once because we get burned out on them during the construction process but we will certainly be calling Bridget again whenever we have a landscaping need.

Absolutely Outstanding! We had several estimates and settled on Bella Giardino and we are grateful we made this decision. Bridget Whipple, Landscape Designer, is an incredible landscaping wizard. She took our thoughts, expertly developed our backyard landscaping, and patiently adopted changes even up to the last day. Her designs/descriptions allowed for it to go through our HOA in 1 day. There were no cost overruns and work was accomplished on schedule. She actually provided a detailed invoice that will be submitted for tax exemption (extra work for her). Mark Martinez, a phenomenal Operations Manager, and Bridget walked through work expectations prior to starting and upon completion. For 4 days, a crew of 5 led by Oswald Talamentes, Foreman, worked tirelessly, always arriving early to start each day at 7:00 a.m. Each night they ensured safe and clean areas. They were organized, methodical, pleasant and accommodating. They used quality products and took steps to work drainage issues, etc. Upon completion, Bridget presented me with a notebook to get us familiar with the program used to build our landscape project, how irrigation worked, how to care for our bushes/lawn, etc. WOW! We didn?t expect this extra step. We highly recommend Bella Giardino. Price was reasonable, quality of products and work was exceptional, their willingness to meet our requests screams Customer Service and above all they were professional in every way. We love our new backyard.
