Aspen Leaf Outdoor Power Equipment

Aspen Leaf had my mower for a total of two months this year trying  to fix the problem.  They never fixed the problem.  The last time my mower was in there shop they damaged the seat to the mower.  They refused to take any responsibility for the damage, saying it came to them that way.  This was a lie, as I have a witness who was present to help load the mower when they came to pick it up.  Plus the man from Aspen Leaf who picked up the mower knew the seat was not damaged. The woman who answers the phone is very rude and does not hesitate to lie or make up stories, anything to not take responsibility.

I will never do business with Aspen Leaf again.  I am out the money for the extended warranty from Lowes, never to buy one again.  They are useless as they will only use this provider which has many poor reviews on Google from people who have had the same issues with them as I have.  Customer satisfaction is a concept Aspen Leaf Power Outdoor Equipment has yet to learn.

I ordered a $790.00 Husqvarna Brush Cutter from them because their the only authorized dealer in town. When it came in they took all the bits out of the box and put it together including a cutting blade that I had told them NOT to put on. I got it home and let it sit due to other stuff going on so when I was able to check it out I found out that they had not adjusted the carburater nor had they adjusted the idle (both of which they said they would take care of). So I read the manuel 3x before doing anything and noticed that the blade attachment had a reverse nut and required 26-30lbs of torque. In removing the nut it took me over 40lbs of torgue and I discovered the reverse nut and threads on the shaft were stripped making the part useless due to thier mechanic putting it on too tight!!. I took it back to them and they said I must have done it, not their mechanic and then told me I could order/pay for a new part thru them. When I told them that wasn't good enough they then offered to send the damaged part to their warehouse, let that mechanic determine the cause and then that way they were taken completely out of the situation. WOW!!!! They broke a $180.00 part, refused to pay for another one then tried to get out of having any responsiblity by "kicking" me down the road. So I went back to my car and while in their parking lot called the Husqvarna office where I told them what their "lying sack of crab" dealer did. An hour later I had a new part on the way at no cost to me as well as a new shop to take my business to. These folks are scumbags, avoid them at all cost.

We took our rider mower and welder to Aspen Leaf on 10/2/13 and were told we would get an estimate of repair in 3 weeks. We indicated that the welder was the most important of the two because we use it as a generator when the house power fails.



A month later we get a call about the lawnmower and are told that it will cost $4000.00 to repair. We declined to repair it but when we paid the bill their $28.00 estimate fee became $35.00 with no reasonable explanation.



A week later we get a call that the welder is finally fixed. The estimate is $250.00 but when we go to pick it up the bill is $290.45.



Both times we had to wait while Aspen went somewhere and found a forklift because they had none on the property. The pick up visit was an hour wait.



I found it interesting that as I was looking at a new Husqvarna rider, no one seemed interested in giving me any details on the machine.



I owned a business for 10 years prior to retirement and I can tell you I would never treat a customer this way.

They are very efficient and timely on their appointments .They work fast, so I get my equipment back pretty fast. They did a very good job on my equipment, and got it back in a couple of days.

Everything has been excellent. They always seem to have a very high quality of work, and their prices are good as well.
