Aspen Kitchens Design & Remodel Studio

Well done. The kitchen looks beautiful. We worked with Anna Fisher who created a terrific design. She showed us 3D renditions of the design on a large computer screen in the Aspen Kitchens showroom and then emailed us copies of the elevations and images as the design developed. Andrew Kranz, the owner of Aspen Kitchens, walked us through the estimate which was in two parts: product and labor - great detail (I like detail). I liked having the costs itemized this way, e.g., I knew how much the cabinets cost and how much the labor cost to install the cabinets. The project manager, Ezra Snyder, did an excellent job of keeping us in the loop as the project progressed. Aspen Kitchens uses a computer application called Co-Construct to let customers know the construction schedule so we knew what was going to happen when because Ezra entered the information on Co-Construct. All the workers involved paid close attention to detail and were polite and patient about answering questions (we had a lot of questions). Working with Aspen Kitchens was a pleasure and we are very happy with our remodeled kitchen.

We had a great experience with Aspen Kitchens, from design to completion! Anna was great in helping us design the perfect remodel of our kitchen. What was just going to be a newer kitchen, we made even more: with a remodeled bathroom, new flooring, two indoor floors of painting. It was a fabulous redo of the main floor! Ezra and his work crew were also excellent! We highly recommend Aspen Kitchen for any remodeling project you have!

We now have a dream kitchen! Aspen Kitchens was 100 percent organized and professional. When I walked in for the first time, they gave me great information on cost and time estimates so I could tell they were organized. Our designer, Anna, incorporated our ideas into a design that was both beautiful and functional. She helped with all of the design decisions which was very important to me. She also understood that there were limits on the budget and helped us cut costs in areas. Our program manager, Ezra, worked with us to create a schedule that fit our timeframe and kept us informed about the steps along the way. All of the people that came to the house were polite, professional and did excellent work. We moved walls and plumbing, converted to gas and redid the floor so it was a pretty big job. While no job this size can go without a glitch here and there, they worked with us to quickly resolve any issues and keep things on schedule. Overall, we ended up with a beautiful kitchen that was on time and on budget.

We had some problems but Aspen Kitchen's Matt took care of them in a timely manner. He went over board to make sure we were not just satisfied but happy. I recommend them highly.

We selected Matt and Aspen Kitchens as one of three design companies for a complete remodel of the kitchen in a newly-purchased 30-year-old home. Matt and quot;guaranteedand quot; us that his design would be the best and he definitely delivered on that promise. He visited the new house, measured the space, and listened to our thoughts for what we wanted in the kitchen. We also wanted plans for a master bath remodel, but Matt was not as excited about that part of the project and verbalized that they focus on kitchens and don't really and quot;doand quot; baths. When we met a little more than a week later for his presentation he surpassed our expectations by designing kitchen spaces that would be used in ways we hadn't imagined. My wife and I had expressed differing ideas about what we wanted and in his first presentation he presented two proposals, to appease each of us. He provided basic ideas for the bath, but nothing special. We identified what we liked about the kitchen proposals and set up a second meeting for him to provide a final plan and cost estimate. Regrettably when we showed for that meeting Matt wasn't there. Though we had specified the date and time in an email, he confused the time and missed the appointment. At the rescheduled time he was apologetic and professional. As with the first, this presentation was in full video with plans on paper and artist representations of the space. He offered the best presentation, but his price estimate was substantially higher than our budget and substantially higher than either of the other designers. We opted against Aspen Kitchens purely because of the cost. After researching the cabinets in question, we could not identify a clear difference in quality that would justify the price difference. We have a relative who hired Aspen to complete a remodel and they were extremely pleased with the professionalism at every step in the process and love their new kitchen. If cost is not important and the best design is, I would highly recommend Aspen Kitchens.

Aspen’s subcontractors were clean, professional, well equipped with tools and supplies and worked extremely well together. There were sometimes two or three crews working at the same time and coordinated their activities quite well. Electrical, ceramic tile, plumbing, countertop, HVAC and cabinet install contractors were all outstanding. Most remarkable was Geol Laack who did the cabinet and appliance install and built our fireplace mantel. Joel is a true old world master craftsman whose attention to detail is evident in the finished product.

The timeline that was initially developed was very accurate as was the cost. We love the dream kitchen we now have and the quality workmanship that Aspen Kitchens provided.
