They were not the cheapest company but "you get what you pay for".  They did an outstanding job!  Extremely happy!

In April I selected three fence companies from Angie's List for estimates to take down my old fence and replace it with a new one, adding approximately 15 feet to replace some chain link fencing. Chris Penchoff from Aspen Country Fence was the first to give me an estimate and I knew from reading past reviews that it would probably be the highest bid. I asked why his company seemed to charge more than others for the same work and he, of course, indicated that his company would provide a premium product, including a stronger that average gate and finishing touches that included hiding the steel posts so that one would only see wood.

I got two other estimates, both of which were lower in cost. But after giving it much consideration, I decided to let Aspen Country Fence do the job. They scheduled my project for June 9th and 10th. They showed up early on the 9th, explained what they would be doing that day and what would be completed the following day. Chris came with the workers and then explained that he was going on vacation and told me who would be the "in charge" worker. They tore down the old fence and then set the steel posts for the new fence. Because I have a dog that needs access to the back yard, they were able to attach some of the old chain link they took down in such a way that my dog would not be able to get out. I really appreciated that.

The next day, the young men were back right on time to finish the project. They finished around noon and were off to their next job. After they left and I had time to do an inspection, I found a few minor things that I was concerned about. I knew the boss was on vacation so I didn't contact Chris until several weeks later. I sent an email indicating what I thought were problems and had an immediate response from him. This was on a Sunday and he was at my house the following day to check out my concerns and told me he would be back on Tuesday morning to resolve the problems. Although these were not major problems, the Company wanted to be sure I was happy with my fence and quickly resolved my concerns.

Yes, Aspen Country Fence charges a little more than others but I experienced outstanding customer service, and there's a lot to be said for that. I will definitely use this company for additional fencing work in the future.

The fence was well-constructed to be long-lasting; the gate quality is very high. Pricing was competitive with other high-rated companies. Time was taken by the owner and crew to answer all questions and to properly address a couple small issues that occurred during construction. All calls and emails were answered promptly and thoroughly. The whole process from the quote to the final work went smoothly.

Following a bad windstorm, we contacted Aspen Country Fence based on favorable ratings on Angie's List. We made the first available appointment, which was a couple of weeks following the storm. Chris Penchoff came to the house and figured the estimate and explained the work that would be done, side and front fence, and deducting $125 for a senior discount. The work was scheduled, and a couple of days later they came out and put up a temporary chain-link fence to enclose the yard so our dog could go outside. On the installation date, the crew arrived at about 8 a.m. and finished the (beautiful) job in short order. We noticed a couple of boards that were a little too short, notified Chris and he had that discrepancy fixed pronto! We are 100% happy with this company and are happy to recommend them! When the back fence blows down, as it's bound to do, we know who to call!!
