It went very well, in fact it was outstanding service. I contacted ARA Technologies on a Saturday morning with my complaint. Tom worked it out that he could come Saturday afternoon between a certain time frame. He arrived on time, was very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable about what he was doing and very thorough in his work. He repaired what he figured was the problem but then also thoroughly checked out the entire power board to make sure nothing else was a problem or could become problematic in the future. He also showed me several ways to enhance the use of the TV. He had quoted me a price before he came and he stuck to that price even though he spent two hours checking everything out. I highly recommend ARA Technologies to anyone who needs a TV repaired. By the way, the TV comes on in 15-20 seconds now. I have to remind myself I do not need to turn it on a half hour before I want to watch it. It is great.

He did a terrific job at a very reasonable price. I live in Pueblo so he drove here twice, once to diagnose the problem and a second time to fix it. He charged me $35.00 for the part so I knew he was honest. In addition to his driving time he worked a total of 3 hours during the 2 visits. It was so much cheaper than buying a new TV.

Excellent. After discussing the problem that I was having with my plasma TV Jack provided labor and parts estimates along with a 1 hour appointment window. He showed up within the window and went right to work. He replaced a couple blown capacitors on the power supply and then tested the other capacitors that weren?t obviously bad. He also inspected the entire power supply circuit board and re-soldered some joints. Very thorough. The TV is now working fine. The final price was just as he had estimated (and was lower than other estimates that I had received). I would definitely use him again and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

We are very pleased with his service.  He kept us informed of the progress on the ordered part, and our TV now works perfectly.  We would definitely recommend ARA Technologies as the work was done professionally and promptly, and within our cost expectations.

The was a home service.  He was very prompt and professional.  He diagnosed the issue and then researched the cost of the replacement part.  Unfortunately this particular part cost more than what it would have been worth to fix, but he put in a lot of time for a very small fee to help me determine this.  I was very satisfied with his service.

I called the service provider and he came that afternoon and correctly assessed the damage. They don't make plasma TV's anymore so he searched the Internet for the part, gave me a few options, ordered the part and in three days replaced it and now it works perfectly well. All for a third of what a new TV would have cost. I'm very satisfied.

Jack, the owner of ARA is a soft spoken professional and this is the second time I have used him. Lighting blew out the
power supply to my 60" LED Tv and in less than 30 minutes he had diagnosed the part that blew and he gave me several
options of where to order the part and he will return to put the part in.

Jack was great. Promptly returned my initial call even though he was traveling. Came out to the house the next day, helped me take the TV off the wall and then accurately diagnosed the problem. A new part was required...he ordered it and came back the day after he received the new part. He replaced the part and even added some additional insulation in an effort to protect the TV against further issues. He helped me put the TV back on the wall and verified that it was working properly.

All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the service ARA provided and would not hesitate to use them again.

He worked for over 5 hours and was so committed in ensuring that the TV worked. He covered his shoes before he entered the house to ensure hygiene. His a disciplined man and responsible.We even called him back to work on the second TV that didn't capture signals.

Jack is an excellent guy. I called him first thing Monday, explained the problem and he told me exactly what was wrong. He told me he could show up at my house that afternoon and did right on time. He spent a couple of hours repairing my TV and it's working like brand new. Thanks!

I was told to find an authorized dealer in the area, but Jack said he was qualified to do the work, and he was. Very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and professional, and he double-checked to make sure it was working before he left.

It went great! I had called the geek squad to see if they could repair and I was willing to bring the tv to them. The man said it sounded like a repair that would be really expensive and it would be cheaper for me to buy a new tv! Needless to say, jack fixed the set for a $95. Service call and less that $10. In parts. ( that he doesn't mark up) my tv works as good as new actually probably even better as the parts are more dependable! He did mention that there must have Ben a lot of these capacitors that were bad right from the factory as he sees this a lot. So note to others, call this repair man before you recycle your old tv and see if you can save some money.

My Sony TV had gone and quot;blackand quot;. Other repairmen had told me to and quot;just replace itand quot; ($1500-$2700) - or like some had tried to do - charge me $300 in diagnostics, home pick up, etc. - all of which were unnecessary. I found Jack on Angie's list, he called me back promptly and left a message, asking for the model number. I called him back the next day with the model number, and with a real time conversation, and trying a few things, I was able to fix my TV. (a simple power cycle did the trick; plug and unplug. Doh! It's an LCD! I supposed I should have known to try this!). But for Jack's time and assistance, I sent him a check anyway (even though he didn't want any money!). He did save me his usual $125 house call fee (he could have come, collected the fee, and done the power cycle himself - unplug power, plug in again, and made 125 bucks). But he didn't. He helped me do it myself. So I sent him a check and a and quot;thank youand quot;!His integrity, expertise, customer service, professionalism, honesty - all excellent. I highly recommend Jack and ARA Technologies if you have a TV repair issue!

He found the main board not working at all - could not find a specific point of failure. He then went online and showed me where I could purchase another board. He even showed me how to install it - including safety features like being grounded whenever you work on a TV. I ordered the new board while he did the paperwork and he said he would come back and install for a ridiculously LOW fee. I will certainly call him again if I have any electronic issues.

It took multiple trips due to the amount of parts that needed to be replaced and the complexity of the repair. He went the extra mile to do an outstanding job.

Better than GREAT!  No bait and switch, no misunderstandings, very much on task!  I wish all repair  companies were this good!

Wonderful Service.  Jack replaced capaciters, then needed another part..... returned as soon as he received it....installed it and TV worked perfectly.  This is one of the GREAT service men! Knowledgable and a pleasure to work with.
