ALL AMERICAN GROUND

Description of Work: I met with John from All American to come up with a design plan. He was courteous (though he DID forget about our first meeting and showed up an hour late... I had driven an hour to arrive at our meeting) and came up with a good design. He stayed within budget and the only things that caused the final cost to go over the estimate were decisions I made after the fact. All of the materials used were great. The only problem with the overall plan was the wildflower seed mix... the soil was not prepped for it and so the wildflower seeds never grew. Instead I had a deteriorated erosion netting causing an eyesore in my yard. It also took a long time to get the concrete patio completed. I think what got it done was our refusal to pay the remaining debt until the work was completed. Honestly, I don't even think they realized that they had left the job incomplete. John was nice and creative and I enjoyed working with him. However, he did, on several occasions, forget things. IE, our first meeting, that I wanted stamped concrete, assuring the final step toward patio completion had indeed happened...
