Mike was exceptionally responsive to our challenging water situation. He was highly professional in his assessment and in his recommendations. He was able to fit us in to his schedule in order to have our service completed as early as possible. He was extremely knowledgeable and found a system that would work effectively for our extremely hard and iron heavy well-water. Our water is now very soft and we have no more staining.  

I called them to come out and check my well water for issues.  I knew I probably needed an acid neutralizer, but thought I probably needed water softening as well.  I didn't have to wait long  for an appointment.  Mike came out and tested my water.  As expected, I needed an acid neutralizer, but my water was not overly hard, and he did not think I really needed softening.  I decided to just go with the acid neutralizer and see how it was after that.

The install happened about a week later.  They showed me how to change the filter, check the tank, etc.  Very helpful.

The system has been in for about 6 months now, and I have noticed I no longer get the blue/green stains in my fixtures.  I have noticed no change in the taste of the water (which is good). 

I am pleased with their service and would recommend them to others.

After looking on Angies list for viable contractors and talking with several neighbors we decided to get estimates from two contractors. We communicated with four of our neighbors who had acid neutralizers installed and maintained (most had been installed for several years) by Affordable Water Svc (AWS) and all recommended them highly. The company has been installing these units for 20+ years and have installed over 2000 of them in my neighborhood. The owner, Mike Finch, has over 30 years experience with water systems and his son Brandon has been installing these units for a number of years. Within a couple of days of contacting them, Mike came to the house to provide a free estimate and water testing. He was punctual and very knowledgeable, professional and didn't try to hard sell me. My ultimate decision to go with AWS was based on neighbors review, the owner's professionalism/knowledge and the fact that their unit only has to be serviced every 2- 3 yrs vs the competitor's model having to be serviced every 6 months even though the initial cost for the AWS unit was substantially higher (but it wasn't an apples to apples cost comparison as AWS''s competitor was recommending a smaller/lower initial cost unit that required more frequent servicing/every 6 months). AWS installed the unit within a few days of my informing them of my decision and the installer (Brandon) was punctual, professional and did an excellent job. I couldn't have been happier with the friendly, professional service.

As fate would have it, a fews days later I noticed a very, very minor seep leak in one of the connections to my preexisting sediment water filter housing. I called Mike and he scheduled Brandon to come out the very next day. Brandon was once again punctual and professional and was able to fix the leak in less than 1/2 hour at no charge (BTW, they have a one year warranty on labor/installation plus the unit itself has 10 yr full warranty with an add'l 10 years of prorated warranty).

All of my contacts with the owner, the installer and the AWS office staff were positive experiences and I give them all A+'s for excellent customer service. Again, I couldn't be happier with my choice in using AWS and highly recommend them to others. I plan to use AWS for the first servicing of the unit in a couple of years but Mike even told me he could teach me how to service it myself if I so desired.....again, above and beyond my expectations!

Mike (owner) and Brandon were responsive to my call, checked out system, cleaned, replaced check valve, and adjusted air feed. They originally installed system in 2007 to remove excess iron in the well water. System works well, as designed. I recommend them to anyone with a water problem. Others in The Meadows have had successful service from them.

The initial estimate was done by the company owner. He came at the time promised and ran several tests to determine what solution was required. The installation was done just a few days later as we agreed. The installer showed up on time, performed all the wrok included in the estimate and left the area clean and neat. He was very quickly able to install and demonstrate the functionality of the neutralizer.
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone on a well needing to adjust the water ph.

They treated me very well. They were very good. They provided excellent customer service and took real good care of us. Their service was outstanding.
