I contemplated whether or not I wanted to pay for an appraisal before putting it on the market. I am glad I did. I have a much more concrete knowledge of the value of my home. I definitley got my moneys worth.

Sharon responded the same day and worked with my schedule well. She gave what I feel was a very accurate appraisal for my property and explained well how she got there. She showed me other listings and recent sales activity for homes in my area and how my home compares to each. She also showed what concessions were provided for each home sale.

The service went well. We were in the process of packing our home up, but she was very good at knowing that is not how our home normally looks. We called Sharon and scheduled an appointment before flying to CSC to take care of our parents' house. She e-mailed us information and a contract, was right on time for the appointment, and spent a lot of time looking over the house and answering all the questions we have since we don't live in CSC. She was friendly and professional. The 28-page report she sent us was very complete and detailed. I would highly recommend Sharon if you need an appraisal done.

Sharon is very thorough. She took a significant amount of time in our home taking notes and completing measurements. She also drove by and looked around the comps in order to identify our and quot;valueand quot; in comparison. She even went as far as calling the listing/selling agents on some of the sold comps to get their take on the house that sold in order to assess the comparison etc. After receiving the appraisal she has made herself available to answer a number of questions we've had.
