Accolade Fitness is a great place to work out. The front desk staff are always friendly and say hello when you come inside. The equipment is clean and always in good working order. They have a good array of cardio machines to choose from, as well as weight machines. The locker rooms are clean and attractive. Best of all, the clientele is mostly working professionals who stop by before/after their workday, so it is a very comfortable, noncompetitive environment to be in. The gym keeps its prices down by charging a little extra for each of their group fitness classes, but I don't mind this because I tend not to take those classes. They offer training packages as well. Even better, Accolade is very affordable - why pay a gazillion dollars a month to work out at the Fitness Palace For the Rich Suburbians over on the East Side when you can have the same workout at a friendly local gym for a fraction of the price? Accolade fits into my modest budget and gives me great results.

My visit to Accolade always starts by checking in with the front desk staff, and the girls who sit at the desk always greet me with a friendly, and quot;Hello!and quot; The locker room is clean and well equipped with showers and a sauna. I usually do cardio on the treadmills or the elliptical machines or spinning bikes and catch up on the news on the TVs in the cardio room. Then I do weights. They have a room of weight machines with several main areas: a circuit system and three groups of machine-based weights. They also have traditional free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, etc. For the bodybuilders at the gym, they have their very own room with the really heavy weights. After my workout, I stretch on the yoga mats. The gym also offers a few classes ranging from yoga to Zumba, although these are extra fees (but still affordable). After I change and head out the door, the front desk staff always tells me and quot;Goodbye! Have a great day!and quot; I feel like I matter as a client to the staff.

It is very good, and very reasonably priced. We would recommend them very highly. My husband had a heart attack a little over a year ago, and he went there for physical therapy after he finished at the hospital. He had an individual trainer who he really did like. He did a good job with him. My husband now goes there regularly. They were punctual and ready for him at his appointment time. The young man who was his trainer was college-trained.
