"I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with our service. I agree with you that it is very important to get everything in writing, when making a business agreement, so from this point forward I am making it a point to have a contract with every customer. I can understand how you were confused. When I first arrived on your property you asked me about several trees on the property. as I recall the initial trees that you asked about you said you were going to take care of yourself, I do have in my notes a price that I gave you to trim the two trees in question. At this point I clearly remember asking you what you did want an estimate for. You told me that the tree next to the house was your priority, as well as removing the two bushes. At this point I gave you an estimate for $320 to trim the tree next to the house and remove the two bushes. And it was an additional $80 to grind out the stump's. You said you did not want to stumps ground out. When we arrive to do the work you were not home and you left your daughter with the authority to approve the work and to make payment. She agreed to the extra charge for using a credit card. And approved the work as complete. I only charge a credit card fee because the credit card company charges me to run the card. I did give your daughter the option of making the payment in cash which would have been $320. Again I apologize for the confusion and I hope that my response will help you to understand that the extra charge was for credit card fee.
