Great. Shaun, Brayden & Mike did an excellent job with the installation. They were all very friendly, professional and courteous. Awning was installed ahead of schedule. Everything went extremely smoothly and we love our new awning. Would highly recommend A&L Home Improvement without hesitation.

Ordered an awning. No follow up. Material was backordered for 3 months, but the problem was that after they received it, 3 weeks went by and no phone calls for installation. I have called this company 5+ times trying to find out what is going on, and they never return phone calls. When I called on 9/10, they said their scheduler had another full time job. I finally got the scheduler to call me back ad he said that he just got the install order from the office. Everyone had a different reason for why it wasn't getting installed. Installer came out 9/16 and did the install. No complaints with installation, just with the office and follow up.

It was great! They were right on time, I left for work and came home early afternoon, the job was finished! No mess, no fuss! All these guys left was an apartment with wonderful, sparkling, easy open windows!!

I found their service excellent. During the time between when the ordered door arrived and scheduling an installation time, I was unaware that my phone voice mail was not working and the crew leader, Sean, was very patient with my unwitting lack of communication. The door is of the highest quality and the installation crew was professional, helpful, and fun! Their price was by far the best of several estimates for the same door. I highly recommend A & L Home Improvement.

It took several weeks to get the exact color and model of storm door we selected as one was not in stock. The company called once it was in town and we selected an installation date and time block. The installer showed up on time, answered all our questions and advised he would do the entire installation himself. We advised him of a crack in the wood frame where the current door return was connected and he said he'd work around that, such that it wouldn't be a problem. He used 3" wood screws to ensure the new return (there were two returns at top and bottom with the new door) would seat securely. It took him almost exactly the time he quoted (~90 minutes) to remove the old door, rework some frame items and install the new door. Upon installation, he asked us to review the door install before he packed up. The new "disappearing screen" was an easy feature to work, plus he made several comments about best way to use the bottom return to hold the door open while still being able to close it without difficulty. He advised that the door frame, while square, was a bit front to back (leaned out at the bottom). So he gave us two options to either 1) have it seal tightly but it may not latch every time or 2) latch every time but have a slight airspace in the lower part of the door. We opted for 2) as safety with the door always closing on it's own was most important to us. We were highly impressed with his explanation, installation and advice to us. Further, he said he would come back to make any adjustments free of charge if we had any concerns after using it for a while.

They were very smooth and efficient and quick on their installing. I just called them and ordered a new option before winter. So they will be here again soon. They were very helpful over the phone. They'll call me when my part comes in, them will come up and install it. I like the work they did so much that I have no hesitation about having them back out. Considering what we got, the price was great. It's not a cheap awning. This one has a remote control. I do not have to do anything by hand. We do have an emergency key that can be used if the electricity is out and it needs to be moved. It's very easy for me to handle by myself. It's an excellent awning. They were very professional.

The service went well. I had used the company before in the past. I did not like that the workers walked off with my latter. I called them the next day and they were very apologetic and returned the latter right away. I do have to leave while they do the service for my job and I did not feel comfortable with them walking around my home. They did not respect the boundaries I had laid while they were at my home for the service. Otherwise, I thought they did do an excellent job and I had no issues with scheduling.

Interior moldings were removed to measure size of replacement glass, moldings were then replaced for the 6 large windows. Exterior moldings were removed to measure size of the 4 smaller glass windows. The larger glass had to be removed from the inside due to the stucco exterior work which prohibited replacement from the outside without possible damage to the exterior stucco. The glass was ordered and the crew returned within 2 weeks to install the glass. Upon removal of the existing glass it was found that a shim had been placed at the bottom of each piece of glass that was not observable at the time of initial measurement. Therefore, the glass had to be remeasured and reordered. The company reinstalled all moldings and reordered the glass without question or without any added cost to us. The reordered glass was installed without a problem. The work crew was very professional throughout the process.

I've used A and L twice. In 2009 I replaced 16 windows in a rental property with new Pella windows. In 2010, the work described above. Through the estimate, bidding, and scheduling process I dealt directly with Chad, the owner of A and L. He was fantastic to work with throughout. The bid was very reasonable, and the work was completed when Chad said it would be. The window/door installer did craftsman-level work and was extremely neat. No messes left behind. My only frustration with the projects was at times I had difficulty reaching Chad by phone, either directly on the cell number he gave me or through his reception desk at the shop. The doors and windows are fantastic and have not required A and L to visit for any repairs or corrections. I'd use A and L again without hesitation.

Shawn was very attentive and very responsive. They cut into my walk out basement and put in 2 windows between 12 inches of concrete. It was very difficult but they stuck with it.

After nearly a year, this window again would not stay open by itself. I called the main number and was told to call the repairman's cell directly. I did and noone answered. I left a detailed message as to who I was, what work he had done a year prior and that I would like to speak with him as soon as possible. After 4-5 days and no return call, I again called the main number. I spoke with a very nice gentlemen and he reassured me that once the lady that booked appointments returned from lunch, he would have her call me back right away. Days passed. I still heard from noone. I again called the main number. This time I asked to speak to the owner of this family owned business. I was informed that Chad, the owner, was gone for the day. I asked that he return my call when he returned the following day. Hours later and on same day, I FINALLY RECEIVED MY FIRST CALL BACK BUT THE CALL WAS NOT FROM THE OWNER. It was a female calling on behalf of Chad. Funny how when you call and ask for the owner/boss of a company it gets attention and how one's phone suddenly rings. She asked if there was something she could help with and I answered no. I told her I wanted to speak with Chad directly. She asked what it was in regard to. I told her "customer service (or lack of)." She said she would give the message to Chad.

Chad, the owner of this company, after 2 days, never called me back after leaving 2 mesages that I wanted to speak directly to him and one of the two messages left was regarding the customer service I had received. Obviously, customer service and returning calls is not a priorty for him nor him company. With this attitude, I plan to never contact this company again and will never give this company out as a recommendation. My window was fixed by another company and I am very satified with the workmanship AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We contacted Aand L for a screen repair on a Pella patio door after the local Pella rep said they didn't do repairs locally. The local rep said it had to be sent to Denver and they couldn't guarantee it would make the round trip without further damage. I brought it in to Aand L (also a Pella dealer) and the screen was repaired quickly and at a reasonable cost.

Later we needed 3 basement windows to replace some aging aluminum single pane windows. Aand L came to the house, gave us a quote, and we ordered the windows. The initial installation was difficult (cutting concrete wall to enlarge opening on one window), and we told Aand L we were not satisfied with the initial install. Chad, the owner, looked at the installation and agreed it should be better. He ordered 3 new windows, and had another installation crew come out and remove the previously installed windows and install the new ones. He did this without additional charge. They could have found a cheaper way to fix the original install, but to their credit, Chad and Aand L replaced all windows and did an excellent job of installing them.

I think this is an excellent company, one that truly believes in customer satisfaction. I will use them for any and all my future window, screen, or siding needs, and recommend them highly to others.

Aand L came out to measure for screens and talk with us on our options to screen three french doors. After deciding what was best, they custom made and installed three sliding screen doors. We are very happy with the result. It's just what we wanted and serves its purpose to keep bugs out and keep our cat in.

They came recommended by Ace Hardware for a screen repair. It only took five days and looks like new. I plan to use them again in the near future! I was very impressed and pleased.
